The most-awaited premiere of Yasuke finally took place a few days ago. Now that they’ve binged it all, fans wonder whether there will be Yasuke Season 2 or not. During this chat, he said, “I can’t say too much, but the acknowledgment has been great, and it would be excellent to become more than what it is. I’m just really thrilled for the fans digging into this, and then we’ll see. Obviously, it would be good to have a big splash and then keep things going.”

Aside from that, the composer and the executive producer of the anime series also teased Yasuke Season 2 one day after the show’s premiere. He posted a tweet revealing that the makers have big plans for this show. In fact, these six episodes were only supposed to serve as an introduction to this world. He further added that it is only the beginning of this journey, hinting that more seasons are to come.

Eguchi is famous for his contributions to the character design of the critically-acclaimed anime film Perfect Blue.
