  • Why Do People Hate New Anime? | The Anime Daily

Anime is a Japanese term that is used to define computer-originated animation series that are produced in the country. When the concert was initially introduced, it wasn’t as popular, but has become mainstream now. The anime industry is growing at a tremendous pace. Fans all around the world have begun to adapt to the anime culture as well. However, there are some people who don’t like anime, and there are some who don’t like to watch new anime. Well, both of them have their fair share of reasons. So, Why Do People Hate New Anime? Here are some of the reasons.

    High Expectations!

Most of the anime series that are produced today are based on some sort of source material. This usually includes mangas, light novels, web novels, and even video games. Hence, the loyal fans of the original content hate it when an animation studio ruins its story. They have very high expectations from these adaptations, but in the end, the anime version fails to fulfill them, most of the time.

Why Do People Hate New Anime

Aside from that, sometimes the anime changes its ending and storyline completely. Even if these changes are for the betterment of the plot, fans of the source material only want to see the faithful adaptations. More often than before, animation studios depend on source materials to produce new anime. Well, in the current scenario, producers avoid picking up original stories. As a result, people have now started to hate these new anime projects that are only bad adaptations of acclaimed mangas or LNs.

Why Do People Hate New Anime: Language Barrier

In the early days of anime, the shows only used to come in the Japanese language, and that too without any subtitles. So, to overcome this problem, fans began to provide subtitles on communities. Hence, most people like to watch shows in their native language as they don’t like to read and watch at the same time. Well, they still have to wait for weeks to see the dubbed version of their favorite anime. As a result, they don’t like to watch new anime as they have to see it in a foreign language they don’t speak.

Why Do People Hate New Anime

Why Do People Hate New Anime: Unnecessary Fan Service!

One thing fans hate the most about any anime series is its unnecessary fan service. There are some really weird anime shows that are full of this kind of content. They’re practically standing at the thin line between anime and hentai. These kinds of shows are one of the main reasons why people who don’t watch anime never give it a chance. In fact, there is still a lot of stigma around such type of content in many parts of the world. Finding a good anime without forced fan service is quite hard these days which a reason why people hate new anime.

Why Do People Hate New Anime

The Bar Set By Old-Gen Anime Is Very High!

Most of the people nowadays don’t like new anime shows as they grew up watching series like Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece, etc. These shows set the bar very high for these new anime to reach. Some of these shows are still running and break the internet whenever their new episode arrives. The new-gen anime series often failed to match the quality content of the old anime. As a result, fans only get disappointed after watching them. It only takes two or three shows for any fan to hate the new anime shows.

  • Vegeta Becoming A God Of Destruction: Let’s Analyse The Odds

Are you in for Vegeta becoming a God of Destruction? Since the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta has seen an incredible arc of redemption. From being an unapologetic villain to becoming a family man, Vegeta has surely come a long way. Named after the planet he was born in, Vegeta’s sole purpose since birth has been to overthrow Frieza.

In order to gain the strength that is compatible with the supervillain Frieza, Vegeta goes to earth in search of Dragon Balls. That’s where this villain becomes an anti-hero. Vegeta meets his future best friend Goku and learns the power of family and friendships. However, it’s evident that Vegeta’s arc will only be complete when he succeeds in becoming a literal God of Destruction. So today, letters explore the possibilities of Vegeta Becoming a God of Destruction.

Vegeta Becoming A God Of Destruction: Is He Worthy?

Vegeta Becoming A God of Destruction
    Vegeta

To understand if the show will ever plan to make Vegeta a god, we must look into the smallest of details. The Dragon Ball Super series has given us many clues suggesting that Vegeta will replace the existing God of Destruction. The only two contenders who possess the power of a god are Goku and Vegeta. However, since Goku is too kind-hearted for the position, Vegeta becomes the only worthy contender.

Another instance that foreshadowed the possibility of Vegeta becoming a God of Destruction was the Tournament of Power. This was when Vegeta was up against Toppo. His opponent mocked him about his will to pick up the mighty tag. But our Saiyan fought brilliantly, proving that he was already on par with a deity. The Dragon Ball Super manga has been even more specific in drawing the arc of Vegeta as a God. We see in the manga that Beerus teaches him the signature God of Destruction technique.

What Will Happen If Vegeta Actually Becomes A God Of Destruction?

Vegeta Becoming A God of Destruction
    Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta

If we consider the part where Vegeta actually becomes the God of Destruction, it would be one of the best moments of the entire Dragon Ball universe. Although Vegeta is only a shadow of what he used to be, some parts of those darker tendencies still remain. In order for this Saiyan to become the ultimate lord of destruction, he must go back to the original vengeful person that he used to be.

Moreover, if Vegeta becomes the God of Destruction, there would be nothing greater in the show than a completed redemption arc. The definitions of destruction would change after this character decides to take on the role.

    Conclusion

Vegeta Becoming A God of Destruction
    Beerus and Vegeta

Currently, the world of Dragon Ball is in complete chaos. With Frieza back alive, and the criminal organization of Heeters in play, the Dragon Ball universe is full of antagonistic elements. So this is the best time that the world moves on from a lazy purple cat to a much persevering superhero.

What do you think about the possibilities of Vegeta becoming a God of Destruction? Since the Dragon Ball Super is busy with the Granola arc, it seems like there is a long way before Vegeta finally gets his due. Are you following the Granola arc for now? Please share your thoughts in the comment section. For more such nerd stuff on the Dragon Ball franchise, keep coming back to The Anime Daily.

The second season of Horse Girl Pretty Derby recently came to a close, and fans have already started asking about Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3. It seems like there is no stopping for this media franchise as it continues to impress the viewers. The sequel was even more enjoyable than its debut installment. As a result, the fans now want to see its third installment as well. So, what are the chances of its return? Here are all the latest details.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby, also known as Horse Girl Pretty Derby, is a Japanese sports comedy anime series. It is a part of a media franchise of the same name by Cygames. Studio Kai picked the manga from the same franchise by Kosugi to produce the anime adaptation. The first season of the television anime premiered on April 2, 2018. Since it got a great response, a sequel was soon renewed and recently released on January 5, 2021. It ran for thirteen episodes and ended on March 30, 2021.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3

Horse Girl Pretty Derby Season 2 Review!

As we stated above, the second season of the anime series topped its brilliant debut installment. It exceeded everyone’s expectations and delivered a top-notch sports drama. On the other hand, the second installment has two main protagonists, Teio and McQueen. The buildup, the character development, everything was way better in its sequel. It beautifully described the story behind participating in the race and winning it.

Teio’s journey inspired a lot of viewers, and it was very touching for them. The great thing is not only the main characters, but the side characters got their chance to shine. Overall, the sequel way better as compared to its first season. All the thirteen episodes were pretty enjoyable and contributed to its storyline.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 2: Renewal Status!

Both the first and the second season got a brilliant response from the viewers. They met with a positive critical reception as well. In fact, the second season even holds an impressive score of 7.93 on MyAnimeList. Besides, the show is also popular because of the media franchise. Currently, everything appears to be in favor of a third season except for only one thing. Uma Musume Season 3 might not have enough source material to adapt. Studio Kai already exhausted most of the chapters of its manga series, and now they’re left with very little content. Hence, the production company might think twice before renewing it for another round.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3: Release Date

It has only been a month since the completion of the second season of Horse Girl Pretty Derby. Therefore, it is too early to expect a renewal. First, the makers will make its third season official, and only then we’ll be able to know about its release date. According to the release pattern of its previous two installments, Uma Musume Season 3 should premiere in the last quarter of 2022.

  • Joshi Kausei Season 2: Renewed Or Canceled? Release Date & Latest Details

It has been almost two years since fans last saw Joshi Kausei on screens. Hence, they are now desperate to know whether there will be Joshi Kausei Season 2 or not. The first installment was quite unique, but it also came with some flaws. As a result, its viewers were divided into two groups, and the show received a mixed response. So, is there any possibility now for this anime to return? Here are all the latest details.

Joshi Kausei is a Japanese slice-of-life comedy anime series. It adapted the plot from a silent manga of the same name by Ken Wakai. As a result, the anime didn’t have any dialogues as well and was merely dependant on sounds. Studio Seven picked up this manga to produce the anime that ran for twelve episodes. It made its debut on April 6, 2019, and ended on June 22, 2019.

    Joshi Kausei Season 2

    Joshi Kausei Anime Review!

While it is very difficult to engage the viewers without any dialogues, Joshi Kausei was quite successful in doing that. The show comes with a unique plot. Moreover, the gimmick was good, and the animation was fine. Studio Seven took a challenge and managed to find a way to keep this show interesting without the use of any dialogue. However, its story was a little sloppy, and there was a lot of filler fan service as well. It received some criticization for the same reason as well. In fact, it actually becomes a turn-off for some viewers.

On the other hand, Joshi Kausei featured some good humor. Overall, the experience was good but nothing special or memorable. Most of the characters also lack development. In the end, the unnecessary fan service stopped the anime from becoming the best show of the season.

    Joshi Kausei Season 2

Joshi Kausei Season 2: Renewal Status!

As we mentioned above, the show got a mixed response from everyone. Its ratings were also not that great, due to which it holds a poor score of 5.76 on MAL. Hence, it might explain the delay behind the arrival of its sequel. Earlier, the production studio didn’t have enough source material. But after the release of new volumes, they have plenty of it to make the second season. The manga is still running, and fans are ready to give another shot to this show because of its unique approach. Thus, if its demand rises even more, the makers might renew Joshi Kausei Season 2. So far, no announcement has come from their side. Hopefully, they’ll reveal its fate very soon.

    Joshi Kausei Season 2

Joshi Kausei Season 2: Release Date

Currently, it is unknown whether Studio Seven will pick up this show again or not. If the renewal ever comes, it is likely that the same studio will handle the command of its animation. However, Joshi Kausei Season 2 might premiere by the end of 2022 only if the green light arrives in the next few months.

  • Skate-Leading Stars Season 2: Will The Sports Anime Ever Return? Release Details

This winter anime season was full of shows with huge potential. Hence, when the release of Skate-Leading Stars was announced, fans certainly had high expectations from it. In fact, some of them thought of it as a worthy animation to the superhit series Yuri On Ice. However, the JC Staff series terribly failed to meet these expectations. Yet, a part of its audience is enjoyed it as it was and liked watching it because of its sports content. Hence, the show still has a fanbase waiting for the renewal of Skate-Leading Stars Season 2. Will they ever be able to see its sequel? Here are all the latest details.

Skate-Leading Stars is a Japanese sports original net animation series. Gorou Taniguchi created this show, whereas Toshinori Fukushima directed it. JC Staff took command of the animation of this series and released the first episode on January 10, 2021. The anime only ran for a total of twelve episodes and concluded its air on March 28, 2021. Since then, its fans are anticipating the return of their favorite show.

    Skate-Leading Stars Season 2

    Skate-Leading Stars Anime Review

The anime enthusiasts got excited after hearing the announcement of this show. However, they got to know that it is not what they expected only after watching the first four episodes.
Well, the show improved after these episodes, but it wasn’t enough to save the series from criticism. The story is purely average, and the lead character’s only motivation is to be good enough to beat his childhood rival. Not to mention, the concept sounds really familiar.

The single-dimension characters were one of the weakest parts of this show. They have only a single trait, and even the protagonist’s character development is average. Not only that, but the skating teams didn’t have any chemistry at all. While Skate-Leading Stars had the perfect setup to become the best sports anime of the season, it fails to implement it. Overall, the show is good enough is to kill your boredom, and one might like it if they have a thing for skating. Other than that, it is a pretty average series.

    Skate-Leading Stars Season 2

Skate-Leading Stars Season 2: Renewal Status!

Original anime series don’t get renewed as often as adaptations. Well, the situation becomes a little different if it belongs to Netflix. Hence, this one will also face a lot of trouble, especially after getting average ratings and poor reviews. The show has a low score of 6.38 on MAL. Aside from that, it does not have any source material to promote. The manga based on this anime recently began to publish in December 2020. So, it will take a lot of time to catch up with the story of the ONA series. Therefore, only a very high demand can save the show from cancellation. So far, the odds don’t seem to be in favor of Skate-Leading Stars Season 2. Thus, it is very unlikely that the fans will see its sequel.

    Skate-Leading Stars Season 2

Skate-Leading Stars Season 2: Release Date

As we stated above, the anime didn’t get a renewal, and it is highly unlikely that it will get in the future as well. Therefore, it is almost impossible to predict the release date of its following installment. In case the series actually gets the green light, Skate-Leading Stars Season 2 will only premiere a year after that happens.

  • A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4: Renewal, Release Date & Latest Details

A Certain Scientific Railgun started as a spin-off series of the 2008’s popular series, A Certain Magical Index. A Certain Scientific Railgun, also known as Toaru Kagaku no Rērugan in Japanese, is a sci-fi action manga series. JC Staff picked this manga in order to produce an anime adaptation. The inaugural season of the anime made its debut on October 2, 2009. Its most recent and most successful third season came out on January 10, 2020. This installment concluded on September 25 of the same year after running for 25 episodes.

A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4

Toaru Kagaku no Rērugan Season 3 Review

As we stated above, the third installment was the best one of this series so far. It came after a long hiatus of seven years. Yet, it was worth waiting as the show excelled in every single department. It continues to show a storyline made up of a collection of dark, powerful, mystical, and moral symbolism. In fact, the series also has some goofy and light-hearted characteristics. The contrast between its protagonists Misaka and Shokuhou was on a different level this time.

A gripping storyline topped with great OSTs made the third season of A Certain Scientific Railgun even more amazing. Not to mention, its fillers were entertaining as well. The great art and animation done by JC Staff turned out to be the cherry on the cake. Overall, the show was a masterpiece, and the viewers enjoyed every single minute of it.

A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4

A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4: Renewal Status!

The anime series made its return after seven years with its third season. Hence, it is likely that the fans might have to go through a hiatus to watch its fourth season as well. The show received a magnificent response from both fans and critics. It even has an impressive score of 8.23 on MyAnimeList and is ranked at #272 on the same platform. As of now, everything seems to be in favor of the fourth installment.

However, currently, the production company doesn’t have enough source material for A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4. The anime already adapted the second last arc, and the manga is still publishing the chapters from its concluding arc. Since the arc only began a few chapters ago, it will likely take a year or two to complete. The anime will certainly return but might take a little longer than usual.

A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4

A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4: Release Date

As we mentioned above, the anime will return once the production studio has enough content for it. Besides, it might take more than two or three years. Therefore, fans can expect A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4 to come out sometime in 2023 or 2024. We will update this section once the green flag arrives.
