It has been a long time since we got to see a good isekai anime adaptation. Fortunately, Studio SynergySP and Vega Entertainment have just the right thing to offer. They have decided to adapt the Saizō Harawata’s popular Battle Game in 5 Seconds manga series into a television anime. The show’s official website released a brand new promotional teaser video and a key visual for the upcoming set of episodes.

Ever since the producers announced its productions, fans of the original manga are going crazy. Well, the internet is full of positive reactions and excitement for the anime adaptation. Battle Game in 5 Seconds: Cast & Crew

Along with the teaser, the names of the cast members were also revealed in the announcement. The anime’s cast includes Ayumu Murase in the role of Akira Shiroyanagi. Other members include, Aimi as Yuri Amagake, Mayumi Shintani as Mion, and Kazuya Nakai as Madoka Kirisaki. We will also get to see Yuichi Nakamura as Shin Kumagiri, Miyuri Shimabukuro as Ringo Tatara, and Akari Kito as Yan.

With this incredible cast, the show is also coming with a competent team of creators. The anime’s staff includes Princess Principal fame director Meigo Naito as chief director. Whereas, Banana Fish fame Nobuyoshi Arai will be directing the show. And Tomokatsu Nagasaku and Ikuo Yamakado will be there as character designers. Moreover, Touko Machida, famous for his work in High-Rise Invasion and Lucky Star, will be the scriptwriter. The animation production will be from Synergy SP and Vega Entertainment. The Opening Theme Song

The show’s opening theme song was also inaugurated with the same announcement as its release. The news points that Kitō will be performing the theme song “No Continue”.
Whereas, the band “15-sai to Seiko Ōmori” performs the ending theme song “Makeibe Jikkyō Play.” The theme music of this new series also received good reviews from the fans.

The anime is the story of Akira Shiroyanagi, who is a high school boy and also an avid gamer. His normal life takes a sharp turn when Akira gets suddenly involved in a battle with a mysterious girl named Mion. Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 2: Renewal Status!

Currently, everything appears to be in favor of a third season except for only one thing. Uma Musume Season 3 might not have enough source material to adapt. Joshi Kausei Anime Review!

While it is very difficult to engage the viewers without any dialogues, Joshi Kausei was quite successful in doing that. The show comes with a unique plot. Moreover, the gimmick was good, and the animation was fine. Studio Seven took a challenge and managed to find a way to keep this show interesting without the use of any dialogue. However, its story was a little sloppy, and there was a lot of filler fan service as well. It received some criticization for the same reason as well. In fact, it actually becomes a turn-off for some viewers.

On the other hand, Joshi Kausei featured some good humor. Overall, the experience was good but nothing special or memorable. Most of the characters also lack development. In the end, the unnecessary fan service stopped the anime from becoming the best show of the season. 

Joshi Kausei Season 2: Renewal Status!

As we mentioned above, the show got a mixed response from everyone. Its ratings were also not that great, due to which it holds a poor score of 5.76 on MAL. Hence, it might explain the delay behind the arrival of its sequel. Earlier, the production studio didn’t have enough source material. But after the release of new volumes, they have plenty of it to make the second season. The manga is still running, and fans are ready to give another shot to this show because of its unique approach. Thus, if its demand rises even more, the makers might renew Joshi Kausei Season 2. So far, no announcement has come from their side. Hopefully, they’ll reveal its fate very soon. 

Joshi Kausei Season 2: Release Date

Currently, it is unknown whether Studio Seven will pick up this show again or not. If the renewal ever comes, it is likely that the same studio will handle the command of its animation. Skate-Leading Stars Anime Review

The anime enthusiasts got excited after hearing the announcement of this show. However, they got to know that it is not what they expected only after watching the first four episodes.
Well, the show improved after these episodes, but it wasn’t enough to save the series from criticism. The story is purely average, and the lead character’s only motivation is to be good enough to beat his childhood rival. Not to mention, the concept sounds really familiar.

Not only that, but the skating teams didn’t have any chemistry at all. While Skate-Leading Stars had the perfect setup to become the best sports anime of the season, it fails to implement it. Overall, the show is good enough is to kill your boredom, and one might like it if they have a thing for skating. Other than that, it is a pretty average series.

Original anime series don’t get renewed as often as adaptations. Well, the situation becomes a little different if it belongs to Netflix. Hence, this one will also face a lot of trouble, especially after getting average ratings and poor reviews. The show has a low score of 6.38 on MAL. Aside from that, it does not have any source material to promote. The manga based on this anime recently began to publish in December 2020. So, it will take a lot of time to catch up with the story of the ONA series. Therefore, only a very high demand can save the show from cancellation. So far, the odds don’t seem to be in favor of Skate-Leading Stars Season 2. Thus, it is very unlikely that the fans will see its sequel.

Yet, it was worth waiting as the show excelled in every single department. It continues to show a storyline made up of a collection of dark, powerful, mystical, and moral symbolism. In fact, the series also has some goofy and light-hearted characteristics. The contrast between its protagonists Misaka and Shokuhou was on a different level this time.

A gripping storyline topped with great OSTs made the third season of A Certain Scientific Railgun even more amazing. Not to mention, its fillers were entertaining as well. The great art and animation done by JC Staff turned out to be the cherry on the cake. Overall, the show was a masterpiece, and the viewers enjoyed every single minute of it. 

A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4: Renewal Status!

The anime series made its return after seven years with its third season. Hence, it is likely that the fans might have to go through a hiatus to watch its fourth season as well. The show received a magnificent response from both fans and critics. It even has an impressive score of 8.23 on MyAnimeList and is ranked at #272 on the same platform. As of now, everything seems to be in favor of the fourth installment.

However, currently, the production company doesn’t have enough source material for A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4. The anime already adapted the second last arc, and the manga is still publishing the chapters from its concluding arc. Since the arc only began a few chapters ago, it will likely take a year or two to complete. The anime will certainly return but might take a little longer than usual.
