We have great news for all the Overlord fans. The director of the anime series Naoyuki Itou has finally confirmed the arrival of Overlord Season 4. Not only that, but they also announced that a theatrical-length movie is also in the works. It is all set to adopt some fan-favorite volumes of the light novel. As a result, the news broke the internet, and fans are now dying to get more detail about these upcoming projects.

Overlord is a Japanese dark fantasy isekai anime series. It follows Kugane Maruyama and So-bin light novel series of the same title. Madhouse Studio, renowned for One Punch Man and Hunter X Hunter, animated this show. The anime made its debut on July 7, 2015, and successfully ran for three seasons. He is quite confident that the viewers will love both the film and the series.

The writer of the LN series Kugane Maruyama also released a statement about the episodes count. Ren Kawahara concluded it in December 2018 after publishing a total of eight volumes. In January 2019, Ren released the sequel of the manga series as well. It concludes after publishing three volumes on April 17, 2020. The good news is that Silver Link Studio only adapted the plot from the initial manga. Therefore, now they can use the content from its sequel in order to create Ao-Chan Can’t Study Season 2. The remaining volumes have enough content for the plot of the anime’s sequel.

In the end, Oden loses.

After the defeat, it is announced in the town that Oden and his nine men will be boiled alive. Oden proposes that if any of his companions survive this boil, they will be set free. The further plot remains in the slate of Episode 974. Whether Orochi will accept this proposal or not, we will find out in the next one.
