It is known that Demon Slayer Season 2 will essentially follow the chronological order of its source material. Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga takes the plot further to the Yoshiwara Entertainment District, where the wrath of the demons is increasing by the day. To compensate for the delay in the release date, the makers of Spriggan Anime have come out with new cast and crew details. For a start, Hiroshi Kobayashi is the director of the show, with Shōhei Miyake as his assistant. Hiroshi Seko will be looking after the scriptwriting department. Whereas, Shūhei Handa is the chief animation designer and the character designer. All these able teammates are working at JNTHED Studios to complete the project.

So far, only four casting updates are confirmed by the makers. Chiaki Kobayashi is playing the role of the protagonist Yū Ominae. Along with him, Yōhei Azakami is playing Jean Jacquemonde. Moreover, Kenji Hamada will be voicing Chief Yamamoto. Lastly, Mariya Ise is cast as Yoshino Somei.
