Kaguya-sama fans are in for a huge surprise. It released a tweet teasing the news of a new update. The tweet revealed that the third season of the anime will have a worldwide premiere. Fans everywhere are delighted at the news. The first season of the anime aired in January 2019 and ran for twelve episodes. The fame of the series renewed the anime for a second season. The second season increased the popularity of the series and surpassed the previous season. So there is a lot of expectation for the third season. The anime is based on the popular romantic comedy manga by Aka Akasaka. The series first appeared in Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015. However, a year later, it changed its platform to the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. As of now, the manga has completed twenty-four volumes and is currently covering the final arc. In addition, the series also released a three-part OVA on May 19, 2021.

Kaguya-sama Love Is War: Renewal Status

Kaguya-sama is an award-winning, critically acclaimed anime. So, it should come as no surprise that the series will return for a third season. After the release of season 2, the official Twitter handle of the anime posted a picture with the caption Continue, Yes or No. Observant fans began to understand the hidden message behind the picture. The anime makers held an event ”Kaguya-sama wants to tell you on stage” on October 1, 2020. The event has finally confirmed the news of the third season.

Furthermore, the event announced the news that a three-part OVA will soon be released. Almost a year later a short promotional video teasing the third season was released. The teaser was released in October 2021. It revealed that season 3 will be titled ‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic’. In addition, the teaser unveiled a release window for season 3. Season 3 will feature the same cast and staff from the previous seasons.  

Update March 11, 2022: First Trailer OUT

On March 11, 2022, the first trailer of the third season was released on the official Twitter account of the anime series. The 50-second trailer shows glimpses of the characters from the series including Kaguya, Miyuki, Iino, and Shijo. In addition to this, the global release date of the third season was also confirmed. Production Details!

A-1 Pictures announced in October 2020 that they began work on the production of the third season of anime. Given the usual time it takes to make another season, the anime was expected to release in 2021. However, like many other series, the anime suffered a slight delay due to the global pandemic. In October 2021, a short nine-minute teaser clip revealed a release window for the anime in 2022. A new visual featuring the major characters from the anime accompanied the video.  

The official Twitter page of the anime has released an update this Valentine’s Day. The tweet revealed that the third season would have a worldwide premiere in a pre-screening event. The event will be titled ‘Kaguya-sama Wants To Tell You – Ultra Romantic- World Premiere’. The event will feature the cast of the show, who will be present for the event.

Kaguya-sama Love Is War Ultra Romantic Plot Details!

The anime is a romantic comedy that revolves around the titular character Kaguya. She is the vice president of the Shuchin Academy Student Council. In each episode, she comes up with a strategy to make the president, Shirogane, confess his love to her. Both the students love each other. However, they do not want to confess first due to their pride and fear of rejection. Initially cold, she begins forming bonds and warming up to people. She does it with the help of various people she meets throughout the series. The second season ended with Kaguya reflecting on her growth and the relations that she made. 

With their feelings for each other increasing every day, it is only a matter of time before either of them slips and confesses. As a result, the next season will show both of them doubling their efforts in order to make the other confess first. The previous season has unveiled a back story for Miko and Ishigami. These stories unveiled more details about the characters and helped fans understand them better. In a similar way, the next season might show a backstory about Hayasaka and how she ended up with Kaguya. The series might introduce some new characters. 

Manga Compared To Anime: What Chapters Will Season 3 Cover?

The anime draws the main story from the parent manga series. However, it does not include all the chapters from the manga. The anime only includes some selected chapters from the issues. The chapters are included in such a way that they reveal important events from the past of the characters. So, the anime might not always follow the order of the manga. The last episode of season 2 covered the cell phone arc, found in chapters 100 and 101.

The most important chapters after chapter 101 are the Karaoke and Rap chapters. Some other interesting arcs include the elective chapter, and the midterm exams chapter. As, season 2 ended with chapter 101, season 3 might adapt chapters 102-137. These chapters should e enough for a twelve-episode season. In addition, it will also include some chapters from before chapter 101 that were skipped. As the anime is still ongoing, it has no shortage of source material. 

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Season 3 Release Date!

Love Is War Season 3 will start broadcasting in April 2022. A-1 Pictures have not yet released a confirmed release date for it. However, we will update this space with the latest updates, so keep an eye out. The next season ‘Kaguya-sama Love Is War Ultra, Romantic’ will have a pre-screening event. Some demon will volunteer to finish off Tanjiro as he is the new big threat. 

In addition, as with many special episodes, it might include a recap of the entire story that happened till now. The episode is expected to include a summary of Tanjiro and Nezuko’s journey. It will show how the siblings have protected each other, made friends, and fought to protect innocent people. It will include a small preview of the next arc that the anime will adopt. The special episode will focus on the neglected details of the show and expand on them. 

Previous Episode Recap!

In the previous episode, after Tanjiro and Tengen behead Gyutaro, the green-haired demon explodes and sends out multiple blood blades. The explosion rocks the entire village, and Nezuko is thrown into the air. She comes out and uses her blood demon art to destroy the blades. She finds her brother and Inosuke, who finally wakes up confused. They rush to Inosuke, who is poisoned and severely injured. Nezuko burns the poison from him and saves him, to her brother’s relief. She repeats the same process with Tengen. 

Tengen reflects on his past and finally decides to retire from demon hunting. He remembers the promise he made to his wives and tells the serpent hashira about it. He reassures Obanai that the new generation of Demon Slayers can replace him now. Nezuko and Tanjiro go search for the heads of the two demons. They discover that the two of them are arguing and blaming each other. Thus, Tanjiro worries that Gyutaro might say something he will regret and shuts his mouth. Gyutaro then tells him of their past lives in Rashomon Riverbanks. How being born in the poorest section of the Entertainment district has ruined their lives. He recalls how his sister was burned alive when she acted against a samurai. A dying Gyutaro then found an upper-rank demon who gave them life. 

Elsewhere, Kagaya Ubuyashiki receives word of the death of the upper-rank demons. He gets hopeful and is certain that they will finally destroy the demon king this time. He tells his wife about it excitedly and calls the news a good omen. Later, the scene shifts to the demon slayers hugging each other and crying in happiness. They are thrilled to survive the exhausting battle. Somewhere else, Demon King Muzan summons Akaza to his infinity castle. 

Demon Slayer Season Special Episode: Release Date

It is still unclear if Demon Slayer Season 2 ended or not. Fans are still not over the anime and are expecting a surprise Demon Slayer Season 2 special episode. If the anime decides to air a special episode, it will air before the new season hits the screens. So, it is expected that Funimation will stream the episode if it releases. Season One of Super Crooks starts with a young Johnny who discovers he can manipulate electricity. However, his first public appearance as a hero is backfired tragically, which causes him to divert to a path of thievery. The show then jumps into the future, where Johnny gets out of prison. There he meets his girlfriend, the psychic Kasey. Soon Johnny head with the young hero Praetorian who catches him thieving. However, Kasey comes on the scene and saves him.

After that, the couple meets the Heat, an old mentor of Kasey. He asks them to join a crew to steal back the helmet of Count Orlok, his friend. So, Johnny and Kasey join Ghost, the Diesel brothers, McCabe, and Forecast in a heist. Their first heist backfires, and they avoid narrow death. The team goes back to their everyday lives. However, they return to honor and help Heat take down Salamander four years later. The second heist is a success.

What Will Be The Plot Of Season 2?

The source material by Mark Miller was a four-part comic series. And the series has adapted the whole story in the last episodes. The series ends with a straightforward ending. So, as there is not much room for a second story, a sequel will be hard to imagine. However, there is still hope as the first ten episodes of the series were not based on the comics. Johnny and his gang of misfits could entertain fans with another heist.

Furthermore, as Super Crooks is part of Jupiter’s Legacy universe. There could be a crossover happening. With the bastard still alive, he will likely make another appearance to destroy Kasey and her life with Johnny. The feud between the heroes and villains triggered by Praetorian might go worse. And Johnny and his friends might find themselves fighting heroes. A fight between Kasey, Johnny and the bastard seems inevitable. After the duo beat him in his own game.

Super Crooks Season 2 Release Date?

As of now, there has been no announcement regarding a second season for Super Crooks. Studio Bones will be very busy with many projects this year. Therefore, it might take time for the studio to focus on Super Crooks again. So, unless Netflix considers renewing the show, Super Crooks might not return for another season. However, if the show returns, fans can expect it to release in late 2023 or early 2024.

Sasaki To Miyano is quickly climbing the ranks as the cutest BL anime. The innocent high school romance between a senior and junior is melting the hearts of everyone. Previously Miyano thought that Sasaki only liked him because he looked cute or feminine. However, Sasaki corrects him and tells him he will love him no matter how he looks. This would make Miyano think more about a future with the other.

In the sixth episode, Sasaki and Miyano do not have many chances to meet up. Both of them spend most of their time working hard for their exams. The time apart gives Miyano a lot of room to think about his feelings towards Sasaki. At the beginning of the episode, Miyano is set to say he does not like boys. However, as the episode progresses, he realizes love can come from anyone anywhere. When his classmate begins talking about his girlfriend, Miyano misunderstands that Sasaki likes him for his cute look. 

He learns from the same classmate that Sasaki’s birthday is soon approaching. Miyano wants to celebrate his birthday and gifts him a sweet lollipop. Sasaki is shocked but thanks him. He enquires if Miyano likes sweet lollipops. In reply, Miyano tells him it is his birthday gift. On a different day, Miyano finally blurts out everything. He tells Sasaki that he does not think of his senior that way. But promises him to give it time and watch where it goes. Instead of rejecting him, Miyano wants to think about it more.
