In the sixth episode, Kaori and Hajime are still separated from the rest of the party. Hajime asked Kaori to reconsider staying with him. He suggested she leave if she was not feeling good. Before she could say anything, another memory began to play for them. The memory included a party on the ship they were on. The host of the party began a speech. He begins on a positive note, but things escalate quickly.
The host mocks the peace treaty between humans and the other races and decides to break it. So, his soldiers and knights raid the whole ship and kill the demons and beastmen aboard it. Kaori and Hajime then run from there into a tunnel. There she gets possessed by a spirit who pretends to be her. However, Hajime finds out about it and begins shooting her with the magic. As Kaori is immune to magic, his attacks hurt the spirit.
He threatens the spirit as it hurt someone important to him. Afraid of his anger, the spirit leaves Kaori. The team soon finds each other outside on a magic circle. However, the giant monster from the previous episode comes and begins to attack the group. Hajime fires missiles at the monster and blasts it. At the end of the episode, the rest of Hajime’s class talks about how Aiko has still not returned. They notice that her guards have also disappeared.
