After Shin successfully defeats Kiriya and the morpho, Frederica gets an emotional vision of Shin, Shourei, and Kiriya. The vision shows Shourei smiling at Kiriya as he orders Shin to care for the young princess. After he finishes, he follows Shourei into a bright room, which can be interpreted as the afterlife. However, neither Frederica nor Shin notices the self-destruction prompt on the morpho. The episode ends with Frederica gasping in shock as the morpho explodes.
The next episodes will show if Shin and Frederica will survive the blast. Shin, who is closest to the morpho, is more in danger than Frederica. However, based on her vision, it is clear that Shin might not die. So, Kiriya might try to save them both in his final moments as repentance for his past. Previous Episode Recap
The previous episode of Demon Slayer finally assured fans that Tanjiro and the others are alive. Despite getting stabbed and thrown off roofs, they dust off their injuries and stand their ground. The episode opens with Gyutaro mocking Tanjiro. The demon leads him to the belief that it was all his fault. He blames Tanjiro for being weak and not being able to protect his sister and friends. Tanjiro escapes the demon and flees with his sister.
However, the two demons catch up to him, Gyutaro traps him in a burning house. He offers to turn Tanjiro into a demon. But he refuses by headbutting the demon. Distracted and confused, the demon does not notice Tanjiro as he stabs him with a kunai laced with wisteria. Tanjiro then resumes fighting Gyutaro. When Daki intervenes to save him, Zenitsu comes out of nowhere. He distracts and begins attacking her. Tanjiro fights the upper-rank demon, but he realizes he can not stop him alone.
It is then that Tengen appears and joins the fight. Tanjiro watches in awe and shock as the sound hashira takes on the demon all by himself. The hashira uses his Musical Score technique to dodge the attacks from the demon. Soon he and Tanjiro succeed in beheading Gyutaro just as Inosuke and Zenitsu behead Daki. The episode ends with Tanjiro falling from the poison and Tengen asking him to run. As he watches in horror, the body of Gyutaro explodes and sends out multiple blood blades.

Black Clover manga first introduced a six months time skip in chapter 229. The manga did not show what happened in the six months and directly skipped past them. Arifureta season 2 Episode 4 opened with Tio in her dragon form flying down to reach Kaori and Myu. A concerned Kaori then asks her about Hajime and others. Tio then tells her that the other will join them soon. Kaori heals Tio as she passes on Hajime’s message to her. She becomes pleased to know that he has promised to return to her. After realizing that Myu is in danger the two women then decide to return her to her mother. So, they set out to reach Erisen. Meanwhile, a flashback scene narrates how Hajime and the others escaped from the volcano. In the volcano, the group discovers a magic circle that allows the user to teleport anywhere quickly. However, their search is interrupted by the waves of lava that threaten to swallow them. Hajime then informs the group of a submarine he built.
The group then use the submarine to escape from the volcano. However, Hajime loses control over the submarine and ends up in a strange place. Surrounded by water everywhere, the group then gets attacked by strange people. They accuse Hajime of being the one who kidnapped one of their own. However, Myu, Tio, and Kaori join them and explain the situation. Together they travel to Erisen, and Myu finally reunites with her mother. The ending of the episode reveals shifts to Aiko and Shizuku, who reveal that Hajime is officially branded as a heretic. As he refused to comply with their orders, the church has tarnished his name and made him the enemy. The two women then agree that they cannot trust anyone now.
