Laid-Back Camp is a popular manga by Afro that made a debut back in 2015. The manga is currently running with 12 volumes. The story was later adapted in an anime series by C-Station Studios in 2018. The announcement came on Friday through the official website of Laid-Back Camp. The statement majorly talks about the Blu-ray Disc sale Laid-Back Camp Season 2. But along with the sequel, the show has a little surprise for us. So, let us see what is in store for us this season.

Laid-Back Camp: New OVA Release Date!

After the release of Laid-Back Camp Season 2 in January this year, C-Station is ready with the third edition of the Blu-ray Discs. The hard copies will be out for sale from July 28, 2021, . Moreover, along with the second season, the disc will also include a brand-new OVA. Additionally, the title of the new animation is “Traveling Rin Shima,” which will explore the adventures of the titular character.

All About Laid-Back Camp

The original Laid-Back Camp anime series follows the story of Nadeshiko and Rin, who cross paths at the hills of Motosu. Nadeshiko is a tourist who has come to see Mount Fuji while Rin is a lone trekker. The story is a visual treat as it explores the beauties of the mountains in the most realistic way. The serialization of its LN series began on May 18, 2016. Its author Yuki Yaku has published a total of nine volumes so far, while the light novel series is still on the run. The pacing was a little bit rushed in the first few episodes of the anime, but then it becomes normal in the second half. By the end of the twelfth episode, Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-Kun ends up adapting the first four volumes. Therefore, Project 9 Animation Studio still has the content from the last five volumes to create Bottom-tier Character, Tomozaki Season 2. The company also shares that the home videos will be up for global sale by this summer itself. The videos will be available in two separate editions- standard and collector.

However, a definite date has not been announced yet. It is expected that the home videos will be ready for pre-orders by the initial weeks of June. Vinland Saga Season 2: Renewal Plans

There have been several instances in the past year that point towards the comeback of Vinland Sagas. One of them was the character drawings shared by director Shuhei Yabuta on Twitter. Moreover, the pictures mention ‘Sea Son Two’ as a caption. Similarly, a post by animation director Abiru Takahiko attracted many eyeballs as he mentioned his ‘busy’ schedule. Fans believe that Abiru is actually working on the sequel of Vinland Saga.
