As the exam’s level intensifies, Fren and Frieren will have a face-off. Let’s take a look at this epic showdown.

Meanwhile, Fren’s party will do the same to protect the bird that they have caught. It could lead to a fearless battle between the groups as everyone aims to capture the bird to clear the first stage of the exam. However, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 20 suggests that the battle will be concluded soon.
Crunchyroll
That’s because the next stage of the exam will soon begin. But since Fren and Frieren’s parties have only made it to the end, their parties will only go to the next stage of the exam. Although they won’t die in real life, the battle will only be between some selected groups, hinting at a dramatic end. Can Frieren’s party pass the exam?
A Quick Recap!
The previous episode began with a big realization. Frieren recalled her time with Himmel’s party and realized that every group followed a different approach to their journey. Meanwhile, her party was quite distinct from the rest of the parties. Soon, the episode shifted its focus to Frieren’s group’s attempt to capture a Stille bird. However, Ubel and Fern had already caught it and decided to guard the bird as others might try to steal it. As for Frieren, she devised a strategy to use “folk magic” to lure the bird.

The elfen mage later shared her plans with Kanne and Lawine. While she mapped her ways to steal the bird, Fern’s group prioritized hiding. Despite their great attempts, Wirbel attacked them. Just then, Frieren pulled off her grand plan. She froze every lake and created an illusion of dead mages on trees. The scene soon became eerie, forcing Denken to take Frieren and her party down. Already looking for Record Of Ragnarok Season 3? Well, no need to look around over the entire internet because we have got all the answers for the next season! Very recently, the first part of the second season was released, and the fans want to see more of this hit story. Even though the first season was not close to being the hit show that it could have been. However, the second season was here to say that not all of the hope was lost. So, here is everything you need to know about the season coming forth!
For some background, the Record of Ragnarok was an interesting manga released in 2017. Written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, this manga has been released in the Monthly Comic Zenon since then. So far, there are a total of 18 volumes in the text. The anime by Studio Graphinica came out in July 2021 and was left for a new studio to take up. This studio was the Yumeta Company. And now, the fans look forward to the Record Of Ragnarok Season 3 release date!
Record Of Ragnarok Season 3: Renewed Or Not?
With the first season releasing on July 17, 2021, RoR became the spot of talk for a lot of fans. Some of the debate was to praise the season, and the rest of it was under the controversies that the show was the center of. After finally getting banned in India, the show still continued with the animation work. This is where we get to find that the second season has a release date of January 26, 2023. The season is listed for 15 episodes to be released in two parts. And the second part was slated for July 12, 2023.
The precise reason for this quirky shift has not been explained in any of the cases. But now, both the fans and the manga readers continue to wait for the next chapter. As for Record Of Ragnarok Season 3, this new season has not been renewed for the coming time. But that certainly does not mean that the third season will not be taking place.
Will There Be A New Season?
All ten of the episodes from Season 2 have come out, and the reception seems to be better than that of the first season. Not in terms of the storyline, but the first season had a lot to be changed for the direction and animation. With the poor screenplay, the season failed to bring a vested interest in the story. However, there still was a good reception for the story that it got a new season. Speaking in terms of numbers, the latest season got a score of 6.4 stars out of 10.
And the MAL scores of the show are also under the same umbrella. The current number is 6.7 stars out of 10. More than 150k fans have given this collective rating. But there was a slight improvement in the numbers when the second season hit the floors. All in all, there have been shows that were renewed despite the poor collection and poor ratings of the show. In that case, these are very good numbers to seek the renewal of Season 3!
Production Updates!
The first season was animated by Studio Graphinica back in 2021. But heeding the criticism that the animation of the first season got, there was a need to change things for Season 2. That was when the name Yumeta Company was pitched for Season 2. And the rest is history. But will this company get ready for another season to come after this? Here is a brief history of this animation company. Better known as TYO Animations Inc., this production has only been working since 2009.
Some of the notable works of the show are Muv-Luv Alternative and Cue. And after that, the second season of ROR did wonders for the makers. But does that mean that the same company will be working on Record Of Ragnarok Season 3 as well? The chances are high. However, the production seems not to have begun so far. With the second part yet to come to the floors, there will be time until Season 3 begins the animation work right now.
Reddit & Other Discussions
More than anything, fans seem to be discussing the plot and animation of the second season on Reddit and similar platforms. While a lot of manga fans believe that the season does not do justice to the manga in any way possible, there are fans who think otherwise. For them, the first season was far worse than what they had been expecting. And thus, there was a significant shift in the story from where it had started.
One of the users mentioned that the second season had far better content than that of the first one. Thus, the Redditor was happy with the route that the show had been taking. But they were not hopeful that there would come a path-breaking shift in the contents of the following seasons, especially Record Of Ragnarok Season 3.
Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 12 Juli 2023, @NetflixID
There is no doubt about the fact that RoR manga garners more popularity than anime. For some frame of reference, the manga first came out on November 25, 2017. The text kept publishing chapters in the Monthly Comic Zenon after that. So far, eighteen volumes have come out in the story so far. In terms of chapters, the two seasons have used only 44 chapters in total. The anime has been using an average of two chapters per episode.
Thus, by the end of Season 2, Part 2, the adaptation will end in Chapter 48. This only means that there is more than enough source material left for the season to come after this. In addition, the next season will start in Chapter 49 of the text. Here is what you can expect from the next season to be there in the storylines coming forth!
Record Of Ragnarok Season 3: What Will Happen Next?
Starting in Season 2 Part 2, fans saw a story featuring Buddha’s Betrayal. In the remains of the last five episodes, the fight between Buddha and Zerofuku/Hajun came to an end. Without spoiling the plot, the victory came after a long-stretched fight. And it was interesting to see how the losing side would react to the inevitable loss that they all had. This fight will be followed by the next one that is lined for Record Of Ragnarok Season 3.
This will be between King Qin Shi Huang and the God King of the Underworld, known as Hades. Most of the season and story will be lost in the introduction and back story of these two characters. But what will come forth will be much more interesting. The fight between the two kings would be one of the most exciting watches for the fans. While Qin Shin Huang believes in righteous acts and providing as little harm as possible, something else is brewing for Hades.
The King of the Underworld is here to seek revenge for the loss of his brother. And thus, the most lethal fight of the entire competition will open up in Record Of Ragnarok Season 3.
Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 New Key Visual !
At the time of writing, there seems to be no update on the show’s return. It will take some time for the anime to go to the floors and then come back with a new season. With the second part of the second season already out, fans can expect to see the third season very soon. 2025 is the year that has all the chances of seeing Record Of Ragnarok Season 3. However, it must be noted that these are mere speculations, and an official update is yet to hit the floors.
This section will be updated as soon as there is any more detail on this. Your only work is to keep an eye on The Anime Daily for the latest confirmations. And so, stay tuned.
After two seasons and four OVAs, the demand for Arifureta Season 3 seems to be heightening as ever. And 2024 is a crucial year for the next season to come back. After a hefty first season, it was the sequel that attracted the maximum amount of audience to the anime. The story of Hajime and Kaori was one of a kind and stood apart from classic isekai stories. After saying goodbye to the second season last March, what are we eyeing for 2024? Well, we have gathered all the answers that you might be looking for!
Arifureta Shokugyō de Sekai Saikyō still stands tall as the 27th highest-selling light novel in the first half of 2017. This isekai harem story was first released as a novel series in 2013. After the success of the novel, the light novel was released by author Ryo Shirakome with Takayaki as the illustrator. A manga by RoGa also made its way to the market in February 2016. But it was the anime that outshined them all. Studio Asread was behind the project, with Crunchyroll licensing the venture. Now, all fans are eyeing Arifureta Season 3.
Arifureta Season 3: Renewal Status
After the generous success of the first season, a sequel made its way to the screens on January 13, 2022. Airing the twelve episodes, the last one got the date on March 31, 2022. A week later, the third OVA of the sequel was also released, titled “Arifureta: From a Detour to The World’s Strongest.” This aired on April 7, 2022. However, the studio didn’t announce the third season back then. But it was after the series took a break of five months that Arifureta Season 3 finally got a green signal. All in all, the third season of Arifureta has been renewed.
Official Announcement!
On September 20, 2022, the official website and social media of the anime went up to announce that Arifureta Season 3 was under production. In addition to this, the director and other team members of the series were also confirmed. This includes the names of Akira Iwanaga as the director. Next to him, Shoichi Sato is the scriptwriter of the series. The team is completed with Chika Kojimo as the character designer of the third season. Moreover, Studio Asread will continue to animate this season, much like the first two.
However, there was no update on a teaser or any visual as part of the announcement. Only a poster was released as part of the update. You can view the official pronouncement right here:
— TVアニメ「ありふれた職業で世界最強」season 3 2024年秋放送🎉 (@ARIFURETA_info) September 10, 2022
Production Updates!
The only piece of concrete information that came out in the latest update was that the new season was in production. This update was from September 2022. At the time of writing, it seems as though most of the season must be animated by now. The first season was a Summer release, and the second one was a Winter release. By the summer slate of 2024, the new season will be completed with the animation work. Only after this would the trailers and teasers start rolling out. This section will be the first one to reveal all the updates as they come regarding Arifureta Season 3.
Arifureta Season 3: Is There Enough Content?
Arifureta is an original fantasy harem isekai novel that came out in 2013. Ryo Shirakome is the writer of the story. The light novel was then released on June 25, 2015. So far, thirteen volumes have come out. This LN itself acted as the source material for the anime. A manga by RoGA was also released in 2016. Two side story manga and one light novel also followed the course. The first two seasons of twenty-nine episodes ended up using the first five volumes of the text.
So, if you are one of the fans who cannot get to wait for the next season, then you can start reading the text from the sixth volume. If the seasons cover 2.5 volumes per season, Arifureta Season 3 might cover until the 9th volume. Even after this, there would be more than enough content to get a fourth season. But popularity also comes into play in a case like this.
What Will Happen In The Next Season?
This harem story of Arifureta is about a high school student named Hajime Nagumo. The young boy has been facing bullies all his life. But all of this happens because the boy is in a relationship with the class idol named Kaori. But things escalate quickly when the entire class transports to another world. And now, each one of the classmates has a superpower that they cannot deem to overuse, or someone would end up losing their life.
The tasks in front of them are tough, and they cannot seem to find a way to win at them. During one of the dungeon raids, it turns out that Hajime is the only one who can save them all. Two seasons pass, and the story continues to dwell within the otherworld. By the end of the second season, we see that Hajime is finally able to preserve the body of Kaori. When the season ends with the episode “A New Journey,” the rest of the team decides to split into two groups in order to find themselves in the labyrinth.
At the end of the latest season, we see that Hajime was traveling with Shizuku and Kouki so as to enter the labyrinth. This is where the Arifureta Season 3 will open. The season will begin the toughest journey of the team. Moreover, after Kaori’s transformation, a lot of things will change for her power as well. It will be interesting to see what the season holds for the two of them. Their journeys are separate, but the end goal is the same. Thus, two different storylines will play a part in the latest one.
Arifureta Season 3: Release Date
The new season is sure to take some time before coming out as a complete series. Considering the pace of the animation work, it will take at least six more months to get a final Arifureta Season 3 release date. Right now, a lot of the fans are eyeing the Fall 2024 slate to get the adventures back on the screens. As the first one, Crunchyroll will possibly bring the season to its official pages. We will be sure to update this section in case there are any details of this. Thus, keep an eye on The Anime Daily for more intel on this.

So, how soon can we expect to get the new season? Keep reading further to know more about this story!

One Punch Man Season 3: Renewal Status
One Punch Man Season 3 has been renewed twice now. But for some reason, the production or other factors keep delaying the season. For a brief context, even the second season was renewed in 2016 but was released in 2019. For the next one, the renewal announcement took place in August 2022. Even the last episode of Season 2 was quick to mention that the new season was to come back very soon. However, ‘soon’ is not the term that most fans trust anymore.
All in all, Season 3 of OPM has been renewed, and fans are desperately waiting for a trailer right now. Other than the first poster, there was no other update from any of the creators. While Murata keeps in constant touch with the creators, the same cannot be said for the anime team. As a result of this, there still is a blind spot when it comes to production.
Production Announcement!
The entire production story of One Punch Man has been a mess since the beginning. The story draws back to 2015, when the first season was released under the banner of Madhouse. With the extensive fight sequences and character designs of the show, this company was taking up tough work. Even the final product was something that received praise and attention from fans and critics alike. Quickly getting a new season renewal in September 2016 wasn’t a surprise, and everyone was happy with the picture so far.
However, a year later, the makers announced that both the director and production company were to be switched for the new season. And that was when everything shifted to JC Staff. Sources suggest that this was in light of the creative differences between the teams. With this, the second season finally got a space for a release date in 2019. But no clique of fans was happy with the animation of Season 2.
Sadly, in the list of some of the worst animated shows, the second season of One Punch Man stands tall. There have been many reasons why this happened. And so, it took the makers a lot of time to recover from this issue. Now, as we write, One Punch Man Season 3 seems to be in production already. Fans continue to discuss the extensive nature of the content ahead. The amount of design and animation that Season 3 requires is a bar for them to reach.
One Punch Man Season 3: Source Material Analysis!
Right now, more than the web novel, it is the online manga that fans continue to read each month. The current chapters of the text have been making waves all over the internet. Looking back, OPM is an original webcomic manga by ONE that came out in 2009. After that, Jump remade the same story in the form of a manga. Starting in 2012, twenty-seven volumes of the story have been released in the public domain so far. It was after this that the anime by Madhouse was announced.
So far, the first and second seasons combined have used up about 83 chapters of the manga. The pacing of both seasons has been consistent, and the adoption has stayed true to the original chronology. As for the total number of chapters, more than 160 chapters have come out in the public domain. And fans look forward to what the rest of the story holds in store with the continuing manga. All in all, it can be said that there is more than enough content for One Punch Man Season 3 and a season after this.
One Punch Man Season 3: What To Expect From Next Season?
Since it has been a very long time, here is a recap of the events that have taken place so far. OPM is about the strongest protagonist in the world, named Saitama. The man has become so powerful in the world that it is becoming increasingly difficult for him to cope with the fact that no one was there to pose an even stronger challenge. As a result of this, he is bored and exhausted in life. In a bid to find something interesting to do, Saitama roams from place to place.
Well, two seasons have passed, introducing new characters and newer villains, only to see that none of them are competent enough to fight the Caped Baldy. It was only in the latter episodes of the second season that we see a much more serious side of the story. The Monsters Association Arc brings an interesting twist to the story. The last battle between Garou and Bang was at the end of Season 2. And here begins the story of Bomb, who was here interfering in the fight.
For some parts of One Punch Man Season 3, there would not be any scene of Saitama or any of his friends. Right now, the monsters will be the main focus of the story. The ranking and battles of these creatures will make up for the story of Season 3. And when Saitama enters, he will be quick to dismiss all those who think that they are the most powerful. The main leader of the Monsters Association is expected to show up by the end of this season!
Reddit & Discussion Forums!
More than the expected plot of the season, the fans are seen discussing the animation of One Punch Man Season 3. After creating a blunderous second season, the work on the shoulders of JC Staff is tough. Keeping up with the expectations of the fans is tough work. One user says that he has all the sympathy for the team that will be animating the latest season. The extent of hard work and creativity that Murata has put into the chapters is something that cannot be faced with injustice.
And there is no scope for any more mistakes to come in the future. Another user mentions that the entire next season will be filled up with fight scenes and action sequences. The only thing they fear is the change of studio at the last minute. Their concerns are evident and justifiable to some extent. However, there still is a chance that this season will be delayed ahead of time.
A third season has already been announced. However, there still is time for the season to go into production and see a final release date. While the animation and production continue, the release date is eyeing a Fall release. These slates are often left up for the best of the shows to come. With this, the fall of 2024 has all the chances of bringing the season back. One Punch Man Season 3 is expected to come to Netflix. We will be sure to update this section as soon as there is more update on this. Thus, keep an eye on The Anime Daily to get all the intel right here.
