As for the source material, there are a total of 100 chapters in the story (speculative). And the finale episode of the anime ends with Chapter 40.2. This concludes the third volume of the story. Halfway through the story, there is only the other half of the story left for fans. Thus, they can be assured that there is enough content for The Ice Guy And His Cool Female Colleague Season 2. But the same cannot be said for the season after this. A third season will take some time to come back in light of the lack of content.
