Netflix has recently revealed the first look and trailer of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Anime Season 2. The trailer focuses on plenty of heavier action and weapons. That fans haven’t imagined yet. It focuses on the posthumans- the people with cyber-brains. They went haywire and started performing weirdly. They want their freedom and see humans as their enemies.

The next run will also focus on nuclear war, including how politics will play a part in it. As per the synopsis, Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama come up with a vision of the future in 2045. They worked on the cyborg Motoko Kusanagi. She leads Public Security Section 9. They aimed to take cyber brain crime down. But, the misleading of the cyber brain resulted in a nuclear war. That will sooner or later destroy the world.

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Anime Season 2: Cast Details!

Masamune Shirow will once again return as the original creator of this anime series. Apart from him, the returning cast members include Akio Ohtsuka as Batou, Atsuko Tanaka as Motoko Kusanagi, and Koichi Yamadera as Togusa. Toru Ohkawa as Saito will join Yutaka Nakano as Ishikawa and Takashi Onozuka as Pazu. Sakiko Tamagawa as Tachikoma will also join Taro Yamaguchi as Borma and Megumi Han as Purin Ezaki. Other cast members include Kenjiro Tsuda as Standard, Megumi Hayashibara as Takashi Shimamura, Kaiji Soze as John Smith, and Shigeo Kiyama as Kurisu Otomo Teito.
