  • Godzilla: What is the Future of this Legendary Monster?

    The franchise Godzilla is quite famous because of its iconic character of the same name i.e. Godzilla. The character marked its debut in 1956 on The Criterion Collection. Since that time the anime personality, Godzilla has been featured in various action anime not only in Japan but also in the United States. The fame that this character has received is unmatchable to any other non-human anime one. In this article, we are going to discuss the success that Godzilla has received till this date (though only one article isn’t enough to describe) and the near future of the franchise.

    Showa Era

    In the starting era which was from 1954 to 1975, the franchise astonishingly delivered up to 15 movies of Godzilla. Delivering 15 anime film in a slot of 20 years was truly an astonishing step from the franchise. The anime released in that era were King Kong Vs. Godzilla, Son Of Godzilla, Terror of Mecha Godzilla and several other anime.

    Heisei Era

    Heisei Era continued from 1976 to 1984. This era mostly consists of the collaborated anime of Godzilla with other monstrous creatures. The films released during that period were Godzilla Vs. Biollante, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla and many other.

    Millennium Era 

    It is a little advance time in the history of Godzilla or you could say the time period when the character received much hype. In this era, the franchise filled the anime industry with astounding Godzilla’s anime. Some of them include Godzilla 2000: Millenium, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, Godzilla: Final Wars and you know what most of the anime of this era are from Sony Entertainment Company.

    Reiwa Era

    Here comes the most anticipated era in the history of the Godzilla franchise. In this slot, the Godzilla made its way to the USA through Netflix and Funimation. It includes all the anime that released from 2016 till this date namely Shin Godzilla, Godzilla: The Planet Of Monsters, Godzilla: City On The Edge Of Battle and Godzilla The Planet Eater.

    Future Projects

    A few days back Kaiju News Outlet tweeted the synopsis of their upcoming anime film and its release date. According to the tweet, the film named as Godzilla vs. Kong will be released on May 21, 2021. 

    Although the release day is quite far away but, thanks to Ghibli’s Studio for the stuff it has provided, this stuff would be enough to help Ghibli’s fans passing their time until the release of Godzilla vs. Kong.

    Ghibli’s Studio since its start has remained a trendsetter whether it is in producing highly grossing anime or developing an adventure park. Being the senior it has always maintained its dignity and keep its audience updated with all the latest news related to the company and its work.

    As due to COVID-19 pandemic, the work has already delayed for two weeks but there is a piece of good news for the people out there. According to the Sora News 24, Mr. Hideaki Omura (Aichi Prefecture governor) announced that “We are still on track and are planning to open the park in Fall 2022.” Well. there is a sigh of relieve that the work haven’t delayed that much and the opening will be there on is schedule.

    Well before the real opening ceremony of the Ghibli’s park, you guys can experience its groundbreaking ceremony later this month. 

    Along with other details, the Sora News 24 also shared the basic infrastructure of the park. According to the update, the upcoming endeavour is consists of 5five different sections. However, out of these five three are about to undergo construction soon. 

    Hill Of Youth

    It is an adaption of Whisper Of The Heart. The main feature of this zone is it will give a full view of the park through its elevator.

    Ghibli’s Giant Warehouse

    This zone is inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away. The key feature of Giant Warehouse is its food court and theatre.

    Dondoko Forest

    Dondoko is originally based on My Neighbor Totoro. Forest Well as per the name we can expect it to have forest-like features.

    Well, from the discussion one thing is clear Ghibli’s fans have to wait a little more for the adventurous trip to their dream park. We know you are already waiting for a quite long but one thing is sure, like every other project of Studio Ghibli this one would be worthy to wait for.

  • First Episode Of Pokémon Journeys Is Available On YouTube

    From a long time, Pokémon is here leaving a strong impression and footsteps to follow in the anime industry. Now, at this point of success and fandom, the franchise does not need any introduction. From its beginning, the franchise is trying its level best to keep fans entertain either by bringing new storylines or new characters.

    A few months back another fabulous anime from the Pokémon marked its debut in an anime world. Till this date, it has completed its numerous episodes. The whole Pokémon Journeys is currently streaming on TV Tokyo and it is also available on Netflix.

    The Pokémon franchise is here with the first episode of Pokémon Journeys and for our surprise this time it is free. Yes, the viewer does not need to pay any charges, does not have to go for a subscription. They just have to visit the YouTube channel of Pokémon where the first episode is waiting for them. The episode one was made available on the official YouTube channel of Pokémon on Monday, July 13, 2020.

    This new step from the authorities is sort of a good initiative for those who prefer dub over subtitles. Yes, you get it right the episode is available in English dub, carrying a classic dub from the best voice artists of an anime world.

  • Transformers: War for Cybertron’s New Trailer Shows Japanese Dub Cast

    Netflix being one of the top-rated streaming networks is always there to set new trends. Recently, the network announced its release date for the Dragon’s Dogma anime series which is September 17, 2020. Now, after the Dragon’s Dogma or you could say before the Dragon’s Dogma we have another anime series in a lineup.

    Back in June 2020, the network revealed the official release date of TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON through its official Twitter account. Later on July 06, 2020, finally, the franchise released its official trailer. Now, when the TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON anime is just around the corner, the Netflix has revealed its dub cast for Japanese voice-over.

    Synopsis

    The Official Synopsis of the upcoming anime is:

    It is the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. The war that has torn apart their home planet of Cybertron is at a tipping point. Two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. In an attempt to end the conflict, Megatron is forced to consider using the Allspark, the source of all life and power on Cybertron, to “reformat” the Autobots, thus “unifying” Cybertron.     The plot of Roaster teeth WAR FOR CYBERTRON’s is divided into three arcs which are Siege and Earthrise. Well the third one is still yet to be known.

  • Dragon’s Dogma Anime Release Date is Officially Confirmed by Netflix

    After Castlevania, we have another fabulous video game, which is now making its debut as an anime series. The video game Dragon’s Dogma released in May 2012 in Japan and received a lot of appraisals. Then after seven years the streaming service, Netflix came forward and announced the production of Dragon’s Dogma anime series. The announcement was made in March 2019 through their media release. But, no concrete schedule was there. Since that time the fans were anxiously waiting for any further update regarding the release date and so on.

    Release Date Of Dragon’s Dogma

    Now, after more than a year the Netflix is here announcing the date of Dragon’s Dogma anime series. Through its twitter account on July 15, 2020, the streaming service updated its fans regarding the Dragon’s Dogma release date along with the poster of this brand new anime. The anime is scheduled to release on September 17, 2020, on Netflix. However, the franchise hasn’t revealed many details about the anime till yet.

    Plot Of An Anime

    The upcoming anime of Dragon’s Dogma is full of dark fantasy, adventure and the will to fight against the evil powers. According to the official synopsis, it revolves around the life of Ethan whose heart has been captured by an evil dragon. But, the Ethan returned to fight against the demon as Arisen.

    Introduction Of The Parent Game

    Dragon’s Dogma is an adaption of 2012 action role-playing video game. That adventurous game was developed by Capcom one of the famous game developing company in Japan. Initially, the video game released only for Play Station 3 and XBOX 360 but, with the advancement of time Dragon’s Dogma role-playing game made its way to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Play Station 4 and on many other gaming platforms.

  • Third Season of ‘Ascendance Of A Bookworm’ TV Anime Announced

    It has been only a few days the second season of Ascendance of a Bookworm marked its end and here we have an update regarding the third one. The series is quite popular because of its amazing niche surrounding the books and library. Those who have a special corner for books and library in their heart along with anime are appraising it a lot. 

    On July 12, 2020 an announcement came from the twitter account of Honzuki no Gekokujō. According to the statement, the creators are looking forward to another (3rd) season and its production has been confirmed. Here’s the official announcement from Ascendance Of A Bookworm:

    The ascendance of a Bookworm is originally a web light novel. The respective novel used to publish in Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Later it was adapted by manga which ran successfully from 2015 to 2018. 

     In 2019 Ajia-do Animation Works Studio came up with the idea to bring an anime series of Ascendance of a Bookworm. Later in October 2019 the 1st season of the anime series aired in Japan. Just after a few months of first season authorities brought another one. On April 5, 2020, the second season marked its debut. The director of the anime series is Mitsuru Hongo and the author is Mariko Kunisawa. 

    Now, when it has been only a month, we have news regarding the 3rd part. Even though it was quite expected while considering the track record of an anime. But, having three seasons in less than a year is no doubt a challenging task and all the credit goes to the creators of Ascendance of a Bookworm.

    The plot of Honzuki no Gekokujō is based on the love for books and one’s emotions attached with them. The anime shows how a girl Urano who dies by burring under the stack of books reincarnated just to read them. 

  • Digimon Adventure Reboot Introduces Mimi

    Digimon Adventure’s 2020 version which is originally a remake of 1999 is giving some wondrous vibes of both old and new scenarios by advancing the storyline, characters and digivices.

    After a Devimon, the Digimon Adventure Reboot version is here with another character Mimi Tachikawa. Although the character first appeared in Digimon Adventure 1999 and even after it, Mimi used to appear in different anime and games. But, this time the character is here with some new vibes which are full of energy and will inspire you to fight against the wrong.

    When in the recent episode on Sunday, July 12, 2020, the main protagonists of the series (Taichi and Sora) visit the Tanemon they meet Mimi. Tanemon is a small village in a digital world, threatened by the fruit thieves and Mimi is the owner of that village.

    She asked them to help her to find out the culprit and punish him, to which they agree. Later it was revealed that the mastermind behind this plan is none other than the main antagonist of the anime Orgemon who is using Tuskmon.

    The characters decided to team up to fight against the evil powers of Orgemon, Tuskmon and Drimogemon. Well in the battle against the thieves Mimi’s Digimon Palmon, badly hurt himself. Later in the anime, Mimi by the help of her digivice converts Plamon into Tagemon, a character which resembles the cactus and has special ability to threw needles.

    Well like the end of every episode of Digimon Adventure, this time the positivity rules over the negativity. The trio of Taichi, Sora and Mimi successfully get rid of Orgemon and his partners. Mimi’s character even after the injury of Palmon was adamant to fight against the dark powers and it eventually succeeded to push them back in their dynasty.

  • Doraemon 2020 Anime Film Will Release On August 7

    Doraemon; one of the most adorable characters in the anime industry is preparing to entertain its fans with its brand new anime film. The official website and the YouTube channel both played their part efficiently in endorsing the anime.

    New Release Date

    On Monday, July 12 2020 a trailer featuring the Doraemon and his new adventure released from the franchise. Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur is scheduled to release on August 07, 2020, after its postponement due to COVID-19 hiatus.

    The film is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doraemon franchise. There couldn’t be the best way to celebrate Golden Jewebly of Doraemon.

    According to the source, the new anime film Doraemon has three new characters. Among those three, two are little dinosaurs and one human. Voice Artists behind each character in Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur are as following:

    Director

    The director of this anime movie is Kazuaki Imai. Mr Kazuaki had also performed his duties as co-director in Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island. Apart from the Doraemon franchise, Mr Kazuki was the director of Parol no Mirai Shima and Kimi ni todoke.

    Writer

    Another great name in the anime is its author Fujiko F. Fujio. This duo of two fabulous anime writers is famous for its work on Doraemon. They have penned down numerous anime characters under the Doraemon franchise such as Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island, Doraemon.

  • Pokémon Journeys Introduced A New Character

    After Sonia, Pokémon Journeys has another character in the Galar arc. But, this time this new character is not a human, it is a Pokémon. In the recent episode of Pokémon Journeys, the franchise took a step to enhance the fun and excitement by adding Sobble.

    For those who are unaware of this adorable character, let us introduce you to Sobble. In terms of appearance, it resembles a lizard because of its big tail and round eyes. On a funnier note, eyes of sobble have a major role in the recent episode of Pokémon Journeys. The character used to weep a lot and for your surprise, it does not need any apparent reason. You must be thinking that what a cry can do but, there is something mysterious in its tears.

    In the recent episode, you must have observed the scene in which Ash Ketchum and Goh spot Sobble when it was crying. As a result of it, both of them ended up in tears. Another key feature of this character is the power to disappear whenever it cries.

    Sobble because of its unique abilities gave Ash Ketchum and Goh a tough time while they were trying to catch this water Pokémon. But, eventually, in the end, the main protagonist of the series (Ash Ketchum) managed to catch Sobble. The scene in which Sobble disappeared and entered the fountain but, Ash didn’t give up, he threw a Pokémon ball which surprisingly hit the sobble and it caught.

    Now, when Sobble is finally under the hold of Ash the story is getting a point. Will Pikachu continue to be a Sobble’s trainer? Will Sobble co-operate with Ash?
