  • Super Saiyan God of Destruction Goku Imagined By Dragon Ball Art

Even though Dragon Ball anime is still on a break right now, fans are committed to imagining where the franchise could be headed next. Many expansions were introduced to the Dragon Ball universe, and one of them loved by many fans is the God of Destruction role.

Since the appearance of Lord Beerus to fight Goku in Super’s first arc, fans are theorizing that the series has been slowly preparing and testing Goku for one end purpose: becoming Beerus’ replacement as the God of Destruction for Universe 7.

Multiple visual odes have showed up since this theory was made public. A lot of them were very creatively produced with a lot of insight. We have selected a pretty good ones to show you.

    https://twitter.com/qiashucai/status/1267882639039426560?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1267882639039426560&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcomicbook.com%2Fanime%2Fnews%2Fdragon-ball-super-god-destruction-goku-artwork-best%2F

Another artist elaborated on this further by visualizing what it would look like if Goku had all of his Super Saiyan auras and colors stimulating simultaneously. You can examine this sleek version in the tweet below.

Compared to the usual crop of Ultra Instinct-infused depictions, this concept of God of Destruction Goku is much more novel and fundamental. This particular version shows the Super Saiyan God coloring of Goku. But it has definitely been incorporated with the spirit of Beerus, considering Goku’s bored look and the return of his Saiyan tail.

When you think about it, it’s actually a detailed and interesting theory of what Goku would be like as a God of Destruction. Having a real responsibility that has spiritual parameters, laws, and dreadful consequences would be a tremendous change to Goku’s roaming brawler lifestyle. However, it wouldn’t make Chi-Chi any happier that Goku finally landed on a real career path and wouldn’t be residing on earth anymore.

Fans now question whether Goku or Vegeta would be the right one for the God of Destruction job. This controversy has led to debates among fans as to who is the better candidate. We believe Goku would make a better candidate but fans have a different opinion.

First, a lot of fans believe Vegeta would be the one best fit for the job, but given the Saiyan Prince’s personality, that may not be the most suitable idea. Goku would be the most uncertain one to take the responsibility, which is exactly why Grand Zeno may think he’s the perfect candidate for the job.

  • Will The Cult Anime Death Note Return with a Second Season?

A decade after it first aired, fans begin to question whether the cult Anime, Death Note will return with a second season. Don’t worry, we have got all the updates for you. Here is what we are aware of.

This Anime is based on Tsugumi Ohba’s manga series and previously aired in 2006 and 2007. The series sheds light on the story of a high school student who comes across a mysterious book, i.e. the titular Death Note. The book has the ability to take the life of anyone whose name is written in it.

The anime series progresses as Light Yagami, the high school student goes on a killing spree, taking responsibility and murdering those he judges as morally unworthy.

Unfortunately, he is corrupted by the power of the titular Death Note. Quite interestingly, he comes across a detective who has been given the task of investigating the death of those Light has murdered.

The Death Note anime is by far the only adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba’s manga. When this anime series was aired in Japan, at the same time a live-action film was released. Tatsuya Fujiwara of Battle Royale fame as Light Yagami and Kenichi Matsuyama starred in the film. After that, a controversial Netflix Death Note adaptation has also been released, plus a musical.

Is Death Note Season 2 likely to be released?

    Death Note

As far as we know, the Death Note ended with a pretty conclusive ending with the death of Light Yagami. Season 2 isn’t likely, considering the fact that much of the action from the original manga was covered in the 37 episodes of the Death Note.

Furthermore, consider the amount of time that has passed since it first aired. Plus, there has been no official word from Madhouse, the production company regarding a follow-up. So, we presume there isn’t going to be a second season.

You can find other Death Note Sequels

We know how much the Death Note fans are desperate for a second season. For the time being, fans can watch sequels from other adaptations of the Death Note. The Japanese live-action film series that we mentioned earlier, covers the events of the manga.

However, there is also a spin-off movie titled L: Change The World. Also, the second direct sequel called Death Note: Light Up The New World and a prequel miniseries named Death Note: New Generation.
