After a series of teasers, the makers of Dark Gathering Anime have finally revealed the release date. And once again, it’s that time of the year when makers drop spine-chilling shows for the fans. Dark Gathering Anime is based on the original manga of the same name. Kenichi Kondou has written and illustrated the manga. It began appearing in Shueisha’s Jump SQ magazine in March 2019. As of now, there are 10 Tankobon volumes. So there is enough source material for the anime.

Dark Gathering Anime: Official Announcement

An update came in July 2022 that Dark Gathering Anime will get an anime adaptation. Now a new update is out on Sheuisha’s official page which spoiled the release date. Since then, many have stopped binging on the manga in the hope of an anime. Luckily, fans are getting close to the release date. Studio OLM is behind the production. Yes, it is the same studio behind the Pokemon series. OLM’s most recent success was Odd Taxi, which topped the charts in 2021.

Besides, Hiroshi Ikehata will direct the anime at the studio. Shigeru of Zombie Land Saga will write the scripts. And the character designer of popular Pastel Memories will also take the same role here. Kohta Yamamoto will look after the music, along with Shun Narita and Yusuke Seo. Apart from that, Nagata is the art director. And Ritsuko is the color designer. At the same time, Kohei is the sound director. The anime will star Yayoi, Keitaro, and Eiko as the lead characters.

What Is The Anime About?

The series is about a young man, Keitaro, who bears an unusual curse. He has an innate interest in mystical things. But in Junior High, Keitaro accidentally made a spirit possess his friend. During this, he got an injury which led him to develop spiritual connections. This event caused him the great depression. And he became a shut-in. Since then, he hated spirits and wanted to eliminate them. The story begins when he meets a cute nine-year-old girl with two sets of pupils, Yayoi.

She hunts wicked spirits. Thus, Keitaro quickly resonated with her. Her main goal is to catch the evil spirit that took away her mother. When she died, the evil spirit didn’t let her mother’s soul pass on. Together, these two will go on an unusual journey to hunt them down. One might think that the premise is similar to Pokemon, except that they will catch spirits instead. However, the story is full of horror and gore.

The 52nd issue of Shueisha’s Jump SQ announced the release date on November 28, 2022. Dark Gathering Anime is all set to debut in 2023. The anime series will air in the summer slate. Revenger Anime: New Promo Video OUT!

Two promo videos of the popular anime, Revenger were already out on the Internet. But they gave no clue about the cast, story writer, or ending theme. However, the new teaser has revealed the main staff, release date, and other details. Famous Fate/Zero writer Urobuchi will plan the storyline. You may know his other popular anime series, which include Psycho-pass, Madoka Magica, and Saya No Uta. Apart from that, Mayasa is directing the anime.

Earlier, he helmed Kemono Jihen, another popular show. Suzuki and Yuushi are the character designers. Naomi Nakano is the color designer. As of now, she is working for Chainsaw Man Anime. On the music front, Jun is the composer. While Maaya sang the ending theme ‘u_mute’. The series’ main stars are Raizo Kurima, Usui, Nio, Soji, and Teppa.

What Is The Anime About?

We receive a vague sense of retribution from the anime’s title, Revenger. The hero, Raizo, kills people to escape some cruel fate that awaits him. Raizo joins a secret group that takes revenge on common people’s behalf who have no power. From the outside, their group disguises itself as a normal store. Raizo works with five other people. The title of Bleach Season 17 Episode 7 was ‘Born In The Dark’. The scene started off with a glimpse of the initial battle between Soul Society and Quincy. It was the origin of thousand year Blood War. And Sasakibe was the one who killed Yhwach. The plot then picked up with the battle of Episode 6. Yhwach managed to slice Yamamoto in half. Every so often, the rain seemed to slow down, and the sound faded. This effect created a moment in time that felt almost serene. Yet it showcased a dreadfully depressing sight.

Yhwach then ordered his Quincy foot soldiers to slaughter every last of the Soul Reapers. Meanwhile, Ichigo finally managed to break out of jail. He quickly met with Byakuya, who was at death’s door. Ichigo confirmed to him that Rukia and Renji were still alive. Unable to breathe any longer, Byakuya said his final words to Ichigo. The sword finally dropped from his hand and dissipated. Furious, Ichigo darted off and finally confronted Yhwach to square off. Sadly, all the odds were against him. Yhwach had the upper hand in the battle.

He came down on Ichigo and stabbed him right in the neck. But Ichigo managed to survive this clean strike. Yhwach decided to drop his sword down. He realized Ichigo was using the Quincy technique, Blood Vein. He figured that Ichigo may have managed to awaken his spiritual memories while in jail. Seeing this, Yhwach was in shock. He decided to retreat for now and told Ichigo they would meet soon. The episode ended with Ichigo calling him his son, born in the dark.

The official page of Bleach TYBW announced a delay in the release of Bleach Season 17 Episode 8 on November 25, 2022. Originally it was supposed to come out on November 28, 2022. Sadly, the makers have pushed out both Episode 8 and 9 to December 12, 2022. Studio Pierrot hasn’t disclosed the issue for the delay. But fans are curious to know the reason.
