  • Bloom Into You Review [Spoiler Free] | The Anime Daily

Bloom Into You is a special anime, and it deserves more attention than it has. Studio Troyca’s ambitious project adapts a critically-acclaimed manga series of the same name. It is one of the best Yuri animes in recent times and is actually respectful and supportive of the LGBT+ community. Aside from that, it is also a good and heartwarming romance drama. Enough said, here’s a Spoiler-Free Bloom Into You Review, guiding you towards the positive and negative aspects of the show.

Studio Troyca’s Yuri anime centers around a high school fresher, Yuu Koito, who has never fallen in love before. Having rejected by a guy, she seeks help from the beautiful student council president Touko Nanami, who had also turned down someone. As the two of them grow closer, Touko begins to have feelings for Yuu. Being unsure of how she feels, Yuu turns her down too. However, this starts the beginning of their shoujo romance.

Back in 2015, Bloom Into You or Yagate Kimi ni Naru originated as a manga series. Writer-Illustrator Nio Nakatani was appreciated for her work by millions of readers from Japan and internationally as well. The critically acclaimed manga was then adapted into an anime series in October 2018, which ran through December of that year. However, the manga ended in September 2019, which decreases the possibilities of Bloom Into You Season 2.

Is ‘Bloom Into You’ Worth The Watch?

The Japanese anime industry has been very fond of Yuri and Yaoi genres in the last few years. However, only a few of them were sensitive enough for the LGBT+ community. This includes some beautifully unconventional shows like Yuri!! On Ice (2016) and Citrus (2018). Also, the representation of queer and trans characters in the Sailor Moon franchise and Wandering Son (2011). Fortunately, Bloom Into You is another such anime that tells the story of a yuri couple as they try to understand their feelings.

The anime constructs a wholesome narrative in a world that feels real. The characters seem like actual people, and their problems were deep-seeded, just like the real world. Protagonists Yuu and Touko are beautifully characterized, and their personalities grow throughout the series. Unlike most romantic dramas, Bloom Into You is not just about the romance. Instead, it focuses on finding oneself and the need for understanding between the relationship.

Studio Troyca has worked hard on the animation of the anime. However, the art is mostly average since its designs are inspired by the manga. The background music and OSTs are effective and memorable. Viewers tend to fall in love with the originality of the characters, especially Touka. Most importantly, the finale wraps up the story pretty well. Hence, fans don’t need to wait for another season. Overall, Bloom Into You is an above-average romance drama that deserves a watch. However, people who are not interested in the genre can totally skip this one.

  • Anonymous Noise Review [Spoiler Free] | The Anime Daily

Are you looking for a binge-worthy show? Well, you’ve found the perfect deal! Studio Brain’s Base’s romance anime Anonymous Noise is emotional, sweet, and heartwarming. The story of the series is a generic love triangle. Yet, it manages to keep you interested until the end. Hence, here’s a Spoiler-Free Anonymous Noise Review, with the good and bad aspects of the show.

Anonymous Review or Fukumenkei Noizu was originally a manga series written and illustrated by Ryoko Fukuyama. The 2013 manga was fairly popular amongst shojo fans during its run. Hence, it was soon adapted into an anime adaptation by reputable animation studio Brain’s Base. The television series aired between April and June 2017 and ended up gaining a fanbase of its own. Even after a few years of its release, the demand for a second round is still high.

The musical anime centers around a high school fresher, Nino Arisugawa. She reunites with her old friend Yuzu, who supported her in the past when she was depressed. Back in the day, she was in love with her best friend, Momo Sakaki, who moved away without telling her. Now that she’s met Yuzu again, he motivates Nino to keep singing, which might draw Momo back. As a result, they become a part of a band, In NO Hurry to Shout. However, everything becomes a mess when Yuzu develops feelings for Nino too.

Is ‘Anonymous Noise’ Worth The Watch?

Absolutely. If you like romance and/or musical anime, then Anonymous Noise will be a great watch for you. Despite having only twelve episodes, the show has plenty of plot threads and exciting characters. Its story has much drama and ties everything nicely by the finale. Also, all episodes end with cliffhangers and bind you to watch another episode. It is also filled with powerful scenes that leave a lasting impression. Overall, storywise, this shojo anime is a treat for binge-watchers.

The animation of the show is simple, yet vibrant when it comes to colors and character design. It also complements the genre at times where the mood gets too emotional. Being a musical series, the power of Anonymous Noise lies in its music. All songs and background music, including the intro and outro songs, are commendable. Hence, as a whole, the anime is beautiful and deserves a watch.

    Issues With Anonymous Noise

A major issue with the Brain’s Base anime lies in its finale. The Anonymous Noise manga contains 103 chapters combined in 18 volumes. However, the anime only adapts the first 29 chapters and leaves us with an incomplete ending. As of now, the studio has not renewed Anonymous Noise Season 2. Hence, viewers won’t find out who Nino ends up with unless they read the source material.

  • Kiznaiver Review [Spoiler Free] | The Anime Daily

After the success of Kill la Kill, Studio Trigger gave another try at the genre. Well, Kiznaiver has an amazing set of cast and creators. Yet, the 2016 anime fails to deliver and is mediocre at its best. However, it can still be a good watch for action sci-fi fans. Moreover, since the series has a unique plot, it appeals to many otakus. Hence, here’s a Spoiler-Free Kiznaiver Review to guide you through the positive and negative aspects of the show.

In the distant future, the Japanese government has created a town to test a large-scale experiment on its citizens. The Kizna System connects people through a scar that enables them to share their pain and suffering. Hence, they select six high school students as “Kiznaivers” and bind them together. The government assumes that the world will attain peace if everyone is able to feel each other’s pain.

Kiznaiver is an original anime series written by Mari Okada and directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi. It debuted on Japanese television in April 2016 and completed its run by June of the same year. Studio Trigger’s Kill la Kill was still trending before Kiznaiver released. Hence, fans had high hopes from the latter anime series. While it entertained many viewers, the show struggled to get an average rating.

    Reasons To Watch Kiznaiver

As an action series, Kiznaiver is an average watch. It provides you with several exciting scenes with top-notch animation. Its story is unique, but its presentation is similar to any other show in the genre. However, one of the main highlights of the anime is its characters. Almost all characters, including the lead, have distinct personalities that interest the viewers. They bind to the story and push you to watch until the end.

The character designs are appealing, yet the animation style is boring. Well, it’ll be an understatement to say that Studio Trigger could’ve done better. However, at one point, the sci-fi story becomes more character-driven, which is usually not found in anime these days. Overall, Kiznaiver would be a good watch for people who liked Trigger’s previous work and fans of the genre.

    Reasons To Skip This One

Mediocre. Yes, that’s the best explanation for this series. Kiznaiver is not a bad show, yet it’s not extraordinary either. Amongst all genres of anime, action, and sci-fi are the most popular ones. Over the years, many studios have delivered outstanding shows that can be remembered years after their release. Hence, it’s much better to explore other highly-rated anime than to give time to Kiznaiver.

However, the world is now crumbling around them. Remnant is still full of Grimm lurking around and traversing through it. Hence, the journey ahead won’t be easy for our favorite characters.

Is RWBY Volume 6 Worth The Watch?

The sixth volume of the animated series turned out to be much of an improvement than the previous installments. In fact, it also rolled out some of the knots from Volume 5. Besides, most of the characters have powerful storylines and meaningful involvement throughout the entire volume. The pacing of the story has also improved. This makes the installment satisfying as it’s no longer building up questions, but answering them as the journey continues.

Overall, RWBY Volume 6 was an entertaining watch and a worthy sequel to the popular show. It sets up a great plot for Volume 7, and we hope it turns out to be just as good.

  • RWBY Volume 5 Review [Spoiler Free] | The Anime Daily

Rooster Teeth delivers another disappointing volume. In fact, RWBY Volume 5 is undoubtedly the worst set of episodes of this otherwise beautiful show. The story arcs of all the characters have changed yet again, and not everyone seems to like it. However, several hardcore fans of the animated series are still supporting it. On the other hand, the mixed reviews given by critics have confused many new viewers. Hence, here’s an unbiased Spoiler-Free RWBY Volume 5 Review, with everything you need to know about the installment.

The American anime-style animated show RWBY debuted back July 2013 and has continued to air for eight volumes, as of November 2020. Created by the late writer and animator Monty Oum, the series became an instant hit all around the globe. Over the years, the critically-acclaimed anime has managed to keep its viewers hooked to the story. Rooster Teeth aired the fifth volume between October 2017 and January 2018.

    Synopsis

For those who don’t know, RWBY is a sci-fi action-adventure show centering around four teenage girls, Ruby, Wiess, Blake, and Yang. The young girls are of the team RWBY and train to fight shadowy creatures called Grimm, in a world full of supernatural forces.

In RWBY Volume 5, each entangled in their own journeys, the team (that was broken apart in the last season) make it to Haven Academy, alongside Ruby’s uncle Qrow. However, everything isn’t as they had expected upon meeting the headmaster. The ancient relic is unguarded, and the mystical Spring maiden is missing. Fortunately, Ozpin has returned and is ready for a battle against Salem. Yet, as he lacks Hunters and the White Fang is closing in on Haven, the fight won’t be easy to win.

Is RWBY Volume 5 Worth The Watch?

While the first two volumes of RWBY were highly appreciated, fans weren’t as happy with the next two. Both Volume 3 and 4 had shifted from the series’s initial tone, yet they were still worth watching. Besides, since the story had evolved, viewers were forced to adjust to the changes. However, the fifth volumes of the show came out to be much more disappointing than ever before. Not only had the tone changed, but the quality of its storytelling had also been depleted.

The screenplay felt underdeveloped as many plot points felt incomplete. The writing was poor, and its pacing was improper, yet there was a lot of talking. RWBY Volume 5 barely had as many fight scenes as any of its other volumes. Given the circumstances of the last season, the characters now have different storylines. Many of these storylines weren’t planned out properly, which also ruined their character development. Being the protagonist, Ruby’s role in this volume felt bland and substandard. All in all, this sequel is a mess and does not do justice to the otherwise beautiful show.

However, we still can’t say that RWBY Volume 5 is not worth the watch. It may not resonate with the quality of the first volume, but it still is better than most other shows in the genre. Most importantly, the rest of the volumes after the fifth one are much better. As of now, the animated series is still running and might continue for a few more seasons. Hence, it’s better to bear this volume than miss the rest of the show.

This time, all four of the main characters had their separate journeys, hence stories. Weiss’s story was one of the strongest amongst the rest, and it was interesting to watch Ruby and Blake take the turns that they did. • Seven Mortal Sins Review [Spoiler-Free] | The Anime Daily

No, Seven Mortal Sins is not related to A-1 Pictures’ 2014 anime, Seven Deadly Sins! In fact, this ecchi anime series is far away from the standards of the popular franchise. Suiting its genre, the 2017 show is full of lewd outfits and erotic scenes. Well, a major part of its audience watched the series as a hentai anime (with a plot). Hence, if you’re wondering whether to watch it, here’s a Spoiler-Free Seven Mortal Sins Review for your help.

Seven Mortal Sins or Sin: The 7 Deadly Sins an adaptation of Hobby Japan’s media franchise The 7 Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). Produced by Studio Artland and TNK, the 12-episode anime ran between April and July 2017. Due to its name, this anime is often related to 2014’s successful anime Seven Deadly Sins. However, these two shows (franchises) have nothing to do with each other. While A-1 Pictures’ project is a high-quality adventure and fantasy anime, the other is a low-quality ecchi yuri anime.

When Lucifer, one of God’s archangels, is cast out from heaven, it gets hard for Hell. During a short stopover on Earth, Lucifer infuses her angel’s blood with a human girl named Maria, at her high school’s church. As she falls into the depths of Hell, she becomes the target of the aspiring Demon Lord of Envy, Leviathan. After a gruesome battle against the sins, Lucifer’s angelic powers are sealed, and her wings are cut off. She manages to return to Earth and takes Maria as her follower to help her get revenge against the sins.

Is ‘Seven Mortal Sins’ Worth The Watch?

Artland and TNK’s ambitious project scored a low number on almost all rating platforms. Critic reviews were harsh, whereas the audience had mixed opinions about the show. Yet, the anime has a massive following even after years of its release. So, is Seven Mortal Sins worth watching?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGkpYZdUt8E

    Reason(s) To Watch

Well, the only positive trait of this 2017 anime is that it’s a treat for ecchi and/or yuri fans. It is mainly targeted toward the followers of this genre and serves them well until the very end. Some argue that the series can actually be pursued as softcore porn. Seven Mortal Sins is full of sexual elements from extreme nudity, ridiculously oversized breasts, several erotic scenes, animated SM, and strong sexual assault.

While many people are fond of ecchi anime, Seven Mortal Sins adds fantasy and thrill to the genre. Hence, keeping aside its faults, the anime will be a good watch for fans looking for a hot and sexual show.

Reasons To SKIP ‘Seven Mortal Sins’

Aside from its ecchi features, the story of the anime does not deserve a watch. While the series starts fine, its sexual content and over-the-top presentation get in the way of the plot. The characters have no personalities and do not contribute to the story. Aside from the extravagant breasts and sexual features of the main characters, the anime’s art and animation are average. Overall, there are better ecchi anime available to watch in the market. Hence, it’s better to skip the series if you’re watching it for the plot.

  • God Eater Season 2: Renewal Updates, Release Date, Plot & Everything To Know!

After five years of God Eater’s release, fans have started to lose hope for God Eater Season 2. As of now, anime studio Ufotable is yet to confirm the return of the anime. Similarly, the creator of the God Eater video game, Bandai Namco Entertainment, hasn’t announced the release of another sequel. However, that does not rule out the possibilities of their renewal. In fact, according to speculations, there is still hope for the anime and game both. Here’s some insight into the future of your favorite show.

Bandai Namco Entertainment’s RPG video game, God Eater, debuted on PlayStation Portable back in February 2010. In no time, the sci-fi game became immensely popular amongst Millenials and Gen Z alike. The company later released several sequels and versions of the game. God Eater 2 and 3 were launched in November 2013 and December 2018, respectively. Studio Ufotable picked up the theme for an anime adaptation that premiered midway in July 2015. After its first broadcast, fans began to anticipate a second season of the anime.

    God Eater Season 2

When Will God Eater 4 (Game) Come Out?

None of the companies related to the anime or game production have spoken about the sequels yet. However, that does not mean there won’t be any new installments in the future. God Eater 3 game was released in December 2018 in Japan and in February 2019 for international fans. In March 2020, Bandai Namco Ent. released the final chapter (of God Eater 3) called Traversing The Past (Episode Ein) with an update 2.50. Hence, it hasn’t been long since the completion of the third game.

Based on the game’s history, God Eater 4 (game) might take a few years to return. Most of its previous sequels were released with a gap of two or more years. Besides, such high-quality games (or versions) usually require more time to make. Thus, it’s only fair for the fourth part to launch sometime around later 2021 or 2022. Yet, the anime sequel might only get a renewal once God Eater 4 is confirmed.

God Eater Season 2 (Anime): Renewal Updates

    Is there any hope?

Indeed, there is. The chances for the return of God Eater Season 2 are pretty decent. The first installment of the anime was a hit amongst audiences from all around the globe. In fact, it also received fairly positive reviews from fans and critics alike. Hence, it will be a profitable deal for Ufotable to greenlit God Eater Season 2. Even though fans are losing hope for the new season, it is likely to make an exciting comeback sometime soon.

However, most Japanese anime are released solely to promote their source material. The first season of the God Eater anime helped spike the sales of God Eater Ressurection (2015) and God Eater 3 both. Now that there are no new games releasing, the anime sequel has no purpose of release. Hence, the second season of the television show might come out sometime around the launch of God Eater 4.

    God Eater Season 2

What Will Be The Plot Of The Anime Sequel?

While waiting for the anime, fans have started to speculate about the plot of God Eaters Season 2. Amongst many theories, one of them has been trending amid all fans of the anime and the game. Based on reports, Lenka Utsugi might emerge as the new lead character in the upcoming installment. Now that Lindow has lost his arm while battling Aragami, the story’s focus will shift to Lenka. Yet, Lindow and Shio both are expected to return.

On the other hand, fans might get to see a brand new lead character in God Eater Season 2. While this new character has not been defined, he/she is expected to be the spotlight in the latest episodes. As of now, we can only hope for the anime to get a renewal and follow the said premise. Keep an eye on this corner for all exciting updates related to the iconic franchise.

    God Eater Season 2

When Will God Eater Season 2 Release?

As of now, the producers of the anime are yet to renew the sequel. Therefore, God Eater Season 2 does not have a set date for the premiere. However, as mentioned before, God Eater 4 (game) is likely to come out sometime towards late 2021 or 2022. Thus, the second season of the anime might release a few months before or after the game’s launch. Even so, a 2022 or 2023 release date seems most plausible.
