But soon, the scene shifts to the Paladin Yrul launching an illusion spell that forces the Ryuzen Seven to face their fears. Because of this spell, Ichika has a flashback of her past, where her father appears before her. She has an abusive father who got angry over the absence of war and never treated his kids well.

The spell triggers her memories, and she sees her father forcefully feeding her a secret medicine that had been passed down for generations. Her next memory focuses on the Yumi clan massacre. But the memory leaves her in shock as she realizes that she was the one who massacred her clan. Her last memory shows her father saying, “as expected of my child, Ichika.” Soon the chapter switches to the battlefield as Daizaemon enters the battle. But Lily tells him to give up as Lucius Zogratis has already planned to transform the Ryuzen Seven into Paladins.

A tired Deku uses Gear Shift and decides to rest. Otherwise, he won’t be able to breathe. At the same time, AFO has trouble controlling Tomura.
