The news came from the December issue of the Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine. Along with the regular chapters and manga updates, the magazine also had interesting news for all the fans of the Cells At Work Platelets manga. The new stated that the creator of the CAW spin-off manga, Yasu, had been working on a new manga for the past two years. The project has now reached a significant completion point. Thus, Kodansha and the author have decided to bring the new story to the floors.

The title of the manga is revealed to be Reiketsu Ryūkо̄ Heika no ‘Unmei no Tsugai’ Desu ga, Kо̄kyū ni Hikikomorо̄ to Omoimasu ~Yо̄ Ryū o Mederu no ni Isagashi no de Kо̄gо̄ Arasoi wa Gokatteni Dо̄zо. In English, the title translates to “I am “Destined” to Be With the Cold-Blooded Dragon Emperor, but I Think I’d Like to Withdraw to the Inner Palace ~I am Busy Cherishing the Young Dragon, so Please Go Ahead and Fight to Be Empress~”

What Is the Manga About?

According to the brief synopsis by Yasu, the plot of the new manga will follow the life story of a fairy princess. So, the plot is derived from Yuzu Lemon’s upcoming light novel of the same name. Crown Princess Effinia learns through a prophecy that she is destined to become the emperor of the Glendil. Thus, her struggles in the world of wars and politics began. Not much is revealed about the manga. In fact, the genre of the story has also not been specified. We will be sure to update this section as soon as more details come into the public domain.

New Manga Release Date

The light novel originally came out back in July 2021. Now, the new manga by Cells At Work artist Yasu will release next month. According to Kodansha, the anime is set to follow the same base plot as the manga. The official synopsis describes the story to revolve around a young high schooler named Savil. Seemingly normal life is turned upside down when he is told that he had a different life before leaving the magic school. Savil learns that he had lost all memory of life before coming to the Kingdom of Wenias’ College of Magic.

As a part of the college curriculum, he is sent to a special training program in the southern part of the continent. The legend has it that the people of this area have a special hatred for witches and mages. Thus, Savil must carry the weight of the lost memories and also take up the challenges in the continent. The story is filled with magic, action, and coming-of-age elements. Can Savil stand up to the expectations of his headmaster through this quest?

Production Status!

As of now, nothing has been said in regards to the production status of the new anime adaptation. In fact, Kodansha has also refrained from revealing the studio that is working on the anime project. It can be said that the makers are trying to keep the buzz going. However, since the release is scheduled for a near date, it is safe to assume that The Dawn Of The Witch Anime is currently under production. Fans can expect to see the first look of the anime in a month or two. The promotions are expected to begin with a teaser visual or character arts.

The Dawn Of The Witch Anime: Release Date

According to the official Twitter account for Kodansha’s Magapoke app, The Dawn Of The Witch Anime is set for a Spring 2022 debut. The publishing company also confirmed the month of April for the release. For now, the exact release date is not out in the public domain. Every two weeks, the LINE Manga app releases a new chapter of the manga. This time, the app revealed that author Haruichi’s Star Wars Leia Princess of Alderaan manga was going to be on a hiatus. The updates did not have any mention the reason for the hiatus.

However, the note did say that the app will continue to release new visuals and bonus illustrations during the break period. The fans of the manga are speculating that illustrator Higurashi might be suffering from poor health conditions again. Last year in January, the manga went on an uncalled hiatus for more than five months. Now, fans are expecting a shorter break than the earlier one.

How Long Will The Break Last?

Unfortunately, the note did not have any mention the duration of the hiatus. The update only recalled that the manga would be on a hiatus ‘for a little while.’ Since the LINE app has revealed that they would continue to release bonus illustrations, it can be assumed that the illustrator is still on board with the makers. Besides, it is also safe to say that hiatus would not last as long as five months like the last month. We will be sure to update this section as soon as more news comes in.

Star Wars Leia Manga: New Release Date

For the time being, there has been no update on the next release date of the manga. However, it can be said with surety that the new chapter will not be on break for as long as five months. According to the official details, Chainsaw Man Buddy Stories is the debut novel in the Chainsaw Man franchise. The novel is set to follow the stories of three different characters. Written by Sakaku Hishikawa, the plot will revolve around three pairs of buddies who encounter different conflicts and solve them with their companionship. It will feature Denji and Power as detective partners who go around in the city solving petty crime mysteries.

The pairs of the other two stories have not been revealed so far. However, fans are assuming that the other two stories will also feature popular characters from the franchise itself. In commemoration of the release of the new novel, author Tatsuki Fujimoto has released a new illustration of the cover of the novel.
