It has been six months since fans last saw Dropout Idol Fruit Tart’s first season. Thus, they are now waiting to get an update on Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Season 2. The anime is a good blend of idol and comedic elements. As a result, it became fun to watch, and now the viewers want more episodes. So, when will the anime get a renewal for its second season? Here are all the latest details.
Dropout Idol Fruit Tart, also known as Ochikobore Fruit Tart in Japanese, is a musical comedy anime series. It is the remake of Sou Hamayumiba’s 4-panel manga series of the same name. Feel animation studio produced the first season of this show. The anime series made its debut around Japanese televisions on October 12, 2020. It ran for a total of twelve episodes and ended on December 28 of the same year.
Ochikobore Fruit Tart Anime Review
The first season of this show was a good one, and some viewers find it really entertaining. It has some similarities to Hanayamata, and they almost give the same vibes. Hamayumiba created both of these shows, and that explains everything. The show follows the story of an aspiring idol and her struggles. Later, she met three more girls and formed an idol group with them.
Unlike other shows, this one focuses less on idol stuff and more on its comedic elements. Along with the story, the characters in this show are also good. The music is impressive, but its art and animation are quite average. On the other hand, the biggest turn-off about Dropout Idol Fruit Tart is that it depends way too much on fanservice. Overall, the anime is not very great, and neither is it a masterpiece. But it is entertaining enough and can certainly kill the boredom.
Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Season 2: Renewal Status!
The debut installment of this idol comedy anime received a positive response from the viewers and a mixed response from the critics. Most of its reviews were positive, but almost every single person complained about the excessive fan service. This affected the ratings of the series as well. Currently, it has a score of 6.76 on MyAnimeList. The show is moderately popular, but it still has more than enough fans to get it a renewal.
Also, the manga series is still on the run, and there is still some content left that Feel studio can use in Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Season 2. So, if the demand and popularity of this show increase even more, then the makers will renew it very soon.
Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Season 2: Release Date
The release window of the anime’s second season depends on the time of its renewal. The chances are that it will get a green light by the end of this year. If this happens, the fans can expect Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Season 2 to premiere in early 2023.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light

In fact, it looks like the production company is on a journey to create a cinematic universe of its own. As for the plot, the makers have revealed that the film is not officially a sequel to its predecessor movie. Instead, it will continue the storyline that was left in the Dragon’s Judgement anime.
Since the show just ended course on June 23, 2021, it seems fair for the makers to release the film while the hype is still hot. For now, the anime movie is set to premiere on July 2, 2021. If the emergency is extended, we can expect a considerable delay in the release.
Kakushigoto
Now, if you have been desperately waiting for the sequel for this one since June 2020, then that wait is about to end. Ajia-do Animation Networks is finally done with the productions of Kakushigoto The Movie. Moreover, the anime also has a solid release date as a relief. The character of Belle is only the virtual name of the protagonist to deal with her self-esteem issues. As Suzu plays more and more Belle, she realizes that she is losing the grip of her true self. Thus, follow the struggles of this 17-year-old as she sets out to find where she really belongs.

Where are all the Dragon Ball Z Warriors now? It has been quite some time since the final episode of Dragon Ball Z aired on television. The last that we saw of this saga was when Goku and the Z-Warriors defeated Kid Buu with the help of Spirit Bomb. But after that, no one got the desired closures for the beloved characters. We were taken straight to four years later in the Dragon Ball Super series.
Between these two shows, we got the experimental Dragon Ball GT that the audiences did not receive well. The show featured a teenage Pan and an adult Trunks. The series also gave a brand-new look called the Super Saiyan 4 to Goku and Vegeta both. Due to negative reviews from almost all the fans, the story of GT was officially taken off from the franchise. However, despite that, we never got to know the ultimate fates of our favorite characters. So, let us find out what happened to every Z Warrior after Dragon Ball Z ended.
Dragon Ball Z Warriors: Goku
Goku
After the devastating outcome of the war with Buu, Chi-Chi forced Goku to discontinue his martial arts training. She pushed him to find a real job and work for a living. That’s when he meets the God of Destruction, Beerus, who was looking for a Super Saiyan God. Hence, Goku begins to train with Beerus, his companion, Whis. This ultimate training gives Goku some new levels of power like the Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct mode. He learns a lot in his fights with newly resurrected Frieza and the champions of other universes.
Vegeta
Vegeta
After freeing the world from the wrath of Kid Buu, Vegeta is determined to spend the rest of his life with his family. Due to this, he started spending more time with Trunks and Bulma. Knowing that his all-time rival Goku is practicing yet again, Vegeta restarts his training in order to surpass Goku. He even approached Whis to request him to train him. Thus, Goku and Vegeta eventually became students of the same master. Later, Vegeta took a break from his training due to the birth of his second child, Bulla. But after he resumed his training, he became the only warrior ever to acquire the Super Saiyan Blue Evolved form.
Dragon Ball Z Warriors: Gohan
Gohan
Being the common man he is, Gohan went back to his human life after the events of the Buu attack. He abandoned his training and married the love of his life, Videl. Moreover, he later becomes a father of a healthy boy named Pan. However, when Frieza returns, Gohan realizes that giving up his training was a huge mistake. But he still manages to work hard to regain his Ultimate form. Gohan prepares Goku steam of heroes and leads them into the Tournament of Power. In order to make up for his mistake, Gohan trains relentlessly and becomes the third strongest warrior after the Saiyans Goku and Vegeta.
Dragon Ball Z Warriors: Krillin
Krillin
Just like his close friend Gohan, Krillin also gave up his life as a warrior and became a family man. In fact, he even managed to get a job at the local police. But being a warrior from the heart, he dearly missed his old life. Hence, when the Tournament of Power finally arrived, Krillin saw this as an opportunity to redeem himself. He joined Goku’s team for the tournament. Yet, unfortunately, he was the first one to get eliminated from the championship.
Future Trunks
Future Trunks
The storyline of Future Trunks is far different from the rest of the characters. After the events of Dragon Ball Z, this version of Trunks returned to his timeline. There, he fought an epic battle with the evil versions of Android 17 and Android 18. Besides, he then became the self-proclaimed protector of the planet earth. Trunks also prevented the rise of Majin Buu. When his world was under the attack of Zamasu, he went back to the past to get help. In the end, his foes were ultimately defeated.
Master Roshi
Master Roshi
Since the beginning of the popular show, there wasn’t much change in the arc of Master Roshi. Well, this was actively undone in Dragon Ball Super. At one point, there came a sudden revelation that the Turtle Hermit secretly trained and became powerful enough to fight alongside the other heroes once again. Besides, his training was evident in the show as he even outperformed Tien and Krillin combined in the Tournament of Power.
Android 18
Android 18
This is another character who revived her storyline through the Tournament of Power. After living a peaceful family life with Krillin, Android 18 got back into action in the championship. In the competition, she reunited with Android 17, who was no longer a villain. Android 17 had now become a park ranger. The duo performed exceptionally well in the tournament.
Goten & Trunks
Goten and Trunks
Of all the Dragon Ball Z warriors that have gone through major character arcs, these two have remained the same. Both the little Saiyans are still the mischievous boys that they were back in the day. They are still unaware of the power that lies within them. However, their strengths were evident in the Buu Saga. There is a long way to go for these little kids in order to become the strongest warriors on earth.
Piccolo
Piccolo
The last that we saw this Dragon Ball Z warrior was when he sacrificed himself in order to save Gohan from Frieza. However, Piccolo was revived shortly after his death with the help of Dragon Balls. The man spent most of his time training and meditating just the way he did earlier. It is also evident that he has increased his power quotient a lot as compared to earlier. He has also come back as Gohan’s teacher in Dragon Ball Super.
So these are the experiences that our favorite characters went through, post the events of Dragon Ball Z. Which Dragon Ball Z warrior do you think has the best arc? Let us know in the comment section. For more such detailed anime articles, keep visiting this corner.

The debut season of IWGP ended only a few months back, and fans are already demanding to see Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2. The first season of this mystery drama was very intriguing, and it hooked the viewers right from the beginning and until the very end. As a result, now they want to see more of this show. So, when will the anime return for another installment? Here are all the latest details.
Ikebukuro West Gate Park is a Japanese mystery drama anime series. It is the remake of Ira Ishida’s urban mystery novel series of the same name. Studio Doga Kobo animated the first installment of this anime. The show made its debut on October 6, 2020. It ran for a total of twelve episodes before concluding on December 22 of the same year. After the anime, the franchise released its manga adaptation as well.
Novel Compared To The Anime
IWGP novel series began to serialize way back in September 1998. In the early 2000s, a live-action drama of this novel was also made. After that, a manga series written by the original author ran from 2001 to 2004. It concluded after publishing the fourth volume, whereas its sequel came out in 2006, but it had only one volume in it. However, the story of the manga and the TV series is quite different. They even have some different characters in the same arc. On the other hand, the anime skipped the initial chapters of the manga and the novel.
The lead character Makoto is already quite reputed in the anime, and each episode of the series focused on a different case. Unlike the books, the anime features some hot topics like poverty, prostitution, and many more. Initial episodes of this show were a little slow, but the tenth episode was the peak point of the anime where Makoto went through drastic character development. Fortunately, the novel has a total of 15 books, and that means Dogo Kobo still has a lot of short stories to make Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2. With the remaining content, they can even make two more installments of it.
Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2: Renewal Status
The first season of the anime received a great response from the viewers. Its intriguing content managed to impress the audience. However, it failed to get a response from the critics. From the point of expert reviews, it was quite average. Its score of 6.84 on MyAnimeList is also average. But the show has a lot of fans and is quite popular. IWGP has more than 80K members in its MAL group. Studio Doga Kobo has renewed its shows in the past that had even lower ratings than this one. So, it might not become a huge problem, as its huge fandom is also there to back the series.
Also, the production studio has plenty of content to make Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2. So, it is a good sign that there isn’t any lack of source material. Plus, the last episode of the anime’s debut season teased the second season as someone approached Makoto for another case before the curtains fell. Therefore, the chances are great that the makers will soon announce the sequel of this show. They might update the fans this very year.
What Will Happen Next?
By the end of the anime’s debut season, viewers saw the Red Band getting disbanded. Now, Makoto will work for the G-Boys to solve the mysteries. Well, Season 1 finale featured an intense fight between the G-Boys and the Red Angels. The G-Boys even planned an all-out war to take place at the West gate park. In the last episode, fans also learned about the true motive of Isogai and that he ordered to kill Makoto. However, he later confessed that he didn’t want to kill him as he liked him.
Takashi and Kyouichi finally came face to face. Takashi didn’t waste any time in delivering his punch that gives the green signal to start the war. But before it started, the theatre began to show Isogai’s recorded confession that stunned both the gangs. Kyouichi even stopped Isogai and landed a kick on his face. However, the situation became worse between the gangs, and the cops also arrived at the scene. By the end of the finale, someone approached Makoto for his troubleshooting services, and the latter replied, “Life Goes On.”
Now, in Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2, fans can expect Makoto to solve more cases while working for the G-Boys. It is likely that his problems with girls won’t be over just yet. He might even track a Princess in the second season who is actually his boss’ daughter. The pattern of the anime will continue to be the same, and he will handle a different case in each episode.
Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2: Release Date
The premiere date of the anime’s second season entirely depends on the time of its renewal. There are chances that the production company might wave the green flag by the end of this year. If this happens, Ikebukuro West Gate Park Season 2 will likely release sometime in 2023. We will update this section as soon as the green flag arrives.
