Recently, show maker Steven Maeda has revealed that the shooting of the One Piece Live-Action began in March 2021. Moreover, he revealed that the codename for the new series is Project Roger. One Piece Live-Action: Release Date

For the time being, neither the makers nor Netflix has confirmed a solid release date for the live-action series. So far, only the production details of the anime have been revealed. The official website of the Megaton Musashi Anime recently updates its list of the crew members of the project. Unfortunately, the list of cast names is still not in the public domain. The founder and president of Level 5, Akihiro Hino, will be the chief director and original creator of the show. Moreover, he is also handling the scriptwriting department. Shigeharu Takahashi will be the director of the series.
