Shangri-La Frontier Season 2 Episode 2 began with Arthur and Katzo capturing Rakuro after figuring out he wanted to use all the loot in Inventoria all by himself. The duo then asked Rakuro to accompany them as they needed him for Wolf-Gang business in Eighthold. Rakuro then delayed his Unique Scenario and accompanied Arthur and Katzo in their mission. However, their destination turned out to be Animalia, where everyone wanted their own Emul rabbit NPC’s. As they couldn’t get their hand on Rakuro, they gave Arthur and Katzo a rough time until Rakuro escaped from the location.

According to GPS, she was in her hometown, Aomori. However, her reason for being there remained unclear. Mephisto suspected she might be in trouble as the Illuminati tightened their security. While Mephisto ordered them to investigate the matters, he also asked Yukio to stop his dangerous training that could end his life.

As the episode progressed, the brothers arrived at a remote village and learned about Shura’s whereabouts. They discovered she was there. However, they still needed to find her exact location. On the other hand, Rin told Yukio about him and Shiemi. However, he suspected Yukio was hiding something. The episode then cuts to Shura’s location. She was at the Towada shrine, where she met the Dragon God, Hachiroto.

The episode later revealed that Shura had a connection with Hachiroto. It also explored her past and her family’s contract with the Dragon God. According to the contract, she had to give birth to the next heir before dying at the age of 30. But she refused to bear a child, upsetting the Dragon God. He tried to kill her but later changed his mind. In the end, Rin and Yukio finally find Shura and learn about her past.
