The last episode of Angels of Death is titled ‘Stop Crying and Smile’. The episode aired on October 26, 2018. The episode starts with Danny and Gray. Gray shoots Danny to save Zack. At the same time, Zack picks up Rachel and escapes. Danny realizes that everyone around him is human. He admits that he is fascinated by Rachel and Zack’s relationship and how they seem to change each other. As his speech ends, the building collapses upon him and Gray ending both their lives. 

Meanwhile, Zack and Rachel finally reach the surface to find police read for them. The police take Rachel to a hospital, then to a mental care facility. She is later informed that Zack is sentenced to death for his murder spree. He is also deemed guilty of kidnapping Rachel and murdering her parents. But, soon after that, Zack breaks into Rachel’s room to fulfill her oath. Zack and Rachel then leap out of the hospital window. Finally, when the police arrive, they find blood on the windowsill and Zack’s knife on the floor.

Was It All In Rachel’s Head?

The anime’s open ending has not made it easy for fans. Countless theories have surfaced on the internet over what happened in episode sixteen. One idea that fits closest to the anime’s theme is that it was all in Rachel’s head. It is known that Rachel hallucinates. So, what if she hallucinated about Zack? When Zack is shown breaking into Rachel’s room, he still has his scythe. The same scythe that was previously broken. However, as someone arrested Zack still has his same old clothes and bandages. This hints that maybe Zack didn’t really come there, and Rachel hallucinated. She wanted to die in his hands to that point, that she imagined him there.

Does Zack Really Die?

Another mystery of the anime is that if Zack died. In the last episode, Zack is surrounded by police and taken into their custody. He is sentenced to death for murder and Rachel’s kidnapping. But, he somehow manages to break into Rachel’s room to fulfill his promise. Knowing Zack, it is clear that he cannot escape the prison all by himself. So it is hard to prove that he managed to break out of jail and meet Rachel. 

Though it isn’t confirmed, the most logical explanation is that Zack did die. This idea supports the other argument that Rachel hallucinated and imagined Zack being there. Because even if Zack managed to break out of his prison. Why is he in the same clothes? Why is his scythe not broken? These questions suggest that Zack didn’t escape and probably died.

Is Zack Rachel’s Angel of Death?

After jumping out of the window, Zack and Rachel seem as if they are floating in the air. If Zack is dead, then it could be his ghost taking Rachel away. As the show’s name suggests, Zack came as the angel of death to kill Rachel and fulfill his promise. His scythe could be a symbol of the grim reaper. The grim reaper is often seen wearing a hooded robe and carrying a scythe. And this matches with Zack’s outfit, as he too wears a hoodie and carries a scythe. He kept his promise and came back to kill Rachel. This idea is the most popular theory as it supports the show’s title and ties all loose ends of the plot.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy Casts Anox’s New Voice Actor

As per reports, the lead voice actor of ‘The Misfit of Demon King Academy’ Tatsuhisa Suzuki stepped down from playing the role. This decision followed the announcement of his hiatus. On August 4, 2021, the singer, voice actor announced a break from the entertainment industry activities. The actor went on hiatus due to mental fatigue and poor health. Suzuki willingly stepped down from his role and issued a public apology for his reckless behavior on August 30, 2021.

However, the anime’s website has finally revealed the new voice actor to be Yuichiro Umehara. He will voice the main lead of Anos Voldigoad in the second season of ‘The Misfit of Demon King Academy’. Umehara is famous for his roles in Cautious Hero, Goblin Slayer, and Young Black Jack. The series will return with two different cours. The change in the casting could delay the anime. What Will Happen In Season 2?

The first season of the series draws its story from the first three volumes of Shu’s light novel. In the pilot season, the mighty demon king, Anos, makes a deal with hero Kanon. Anos sacrifices himself for peace and reincarnates two thousand years into the future. After reincarnation, he joins the Demon King Academy. Due to the deterioration of magic, the school is the only place still with magic. However, he learns that Jerga and his followers betrayed Kanon. In doing so, they continue the practice of demon resentment.

The first season ended with Kanon reincarnating and fighting alongside Anos. Both of them put an end to Jerga and his forces. The show might follow the ‘Great Spirit Arc’ in the next season. Season 2 will show how Anos will resume as the demon king. In addition, it will introduce a much powerful enemy, Nousgalia, a god who hates Anos. Nousgalia will come in the disguise of a new teacher. Iridorimidori Anime is based on Sega’s famous game, Chunithm. It is a rhythm arcade game that launched in 2015. The concept of the anime is based on the in-game girl band of the same name. The short anime series will focus on the girl band’s origin story. The original cast of the band will resume their roles in the anime. So, the main cast of the anime includes Emi Nitta, Ayaka Fukuhara, Ayano Yamamoto, Kaoru Sakura, and M.A.O.

Frontwing unveiled the staff for Iridorimidori in an announcement on December 10. The report confirmed Chihaya Tanaka as the show’s director. And that Akatsuki Studio of the High School Fleet fame is animating the series. In addition, Rei Ishikura will join Tanaka as a series composer. Moreover, Takeshi Sato and Kaori Goto will work on character designs.

Frontwing released the staff and launch date for the anime in a press release. The report revealed that Iridorimidori will premiere on Tokyo MX and AT-X. The first season of the anime came out in 2013. The second season ran from 2014 to 2015. And the third season ‘Yowamushi Pedal New Generation’ released in 2017. Following the third season, the makers announced the fourth season, ‘Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line’. The fourth installment was released in 2018 and ran for 25 episodes. Yowamushi Pedal’s official Twitter announced the news of a fifth season.

The fifth season will be titled ‘Yowamushi Pedal Limit Break’. TMS Entertainment will return to animate the series. NHK Network will broadcast the series. Birdie Wing Anime’s website announced the project in October. A follow-up announcement unveiled additional cast and staff members on December 7, 2021. Bandai Namco is animating the series. Takayuki Inagaki is going to direct the anime. Then, Yousuke Kuroda will work on the script. He previously worked on the hit anime, My Hero Academia and Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The new cast members are Ami Koshimizu, Akira Sekine, Toru Furuya, and Shuichi Ikeda. They will be joining Akari Kito and Asami Seto.

However, as it is a sports-themed anime, it needs professional supervision and assistance. Hence, a professional golf coach Toru Inoue will oversee the anime’s production. Furthermore, Toru Inoue will bring his experience as a Junior World Golf Championship coach to help with the anime. In addition, Bandai Namco is producing the anime with Global Golf Media Group.

The official website of Black Rock Shooter DAWN FALL anime has released its third visual. The website has previously released two visuals in October and November, respectively. The first visual from October featured Black Rock Shooter. Then the second one featured her rival Dead Master. The new visual released in December features Strength. 

The central art of DAWN FALL shows Black Rock Shooter holding her weapon and reaching out to her vehicle. There is a full purple moon in the background. The cyberpunk theme of the visuals is similar to that found in the game to the 2012 anime. The visuals help build an idea about the anime. So it can be assumed that the anime will have a cyberpunk, futuristic aesthetic. 

DAWN FALL: Staff And Cast Updates!

Black Rock Shooter began with a single illustration by artist Huke. The 2007 image featured a young blue-eyed woman in black pigtails, holding a weapon. The illustration’s popularity spiked when J-pop band Supercell released a song on her. After that, the art inspired an OVA, a TV Anime, manga series, games, and the franchise’s very own action figures. 

Director Tensho of Kini-ro Mosaic fame is going to work on the anime. The anime is being made at Bibury Animation Studios and Bibury Animation CG. Makoto Fukami, famous for his work on the PSYCHO-PASS series, is working on the screenplay. There haven’t been any announcements regarding the cast. But we can expect an update soon.

Due to the critical changes to the studio and the staff, the fourth season might take some time to come out. As of now, there is no official release date for Golden Kamuy Season 4. But fans can stream the first three seasons on Crunchyroll and Funimation. It is being speculated that the series will be ready in a year’s time. What Is The Plot?

The movie is based on Nahoko Uehashi’s original novel series. The story follows Van, a prisoner of war, forced to work in the rival kingdom’s salt mines. One unfortunate night, a pack of dogs attack the mines and begin spreading an illness. Van escapes the mines and finds a young girl. Meanwhile, Hossal, a medical scientist, tries to find a cure for fighting against the mysterious illness.

The movie tells the stories of different people fighting against the illness and their bonds. It follows the strange friendships born out of the circumstances. The movie stars Shinichi Tsutsumi, Ryoma Takeuchi, and Anne Watanabe in the lead roles. The movie also won a Bronze Audience Award at the Fantasia International Film Festival in August. So, there are some high expectations of this film before the final release.

The Deer King Movie: New Release Date

The Deer King had to postpone its release twice due to the global pandemic. But after many hurdles, the movie is finally set to release. Azumi Waki is playing the role of Dryad and Wataru Takagi will be playing Proudwolf. The cast’s comments on the website reveal the characters’ personalities. The comments also hint that the cast is excited to play their respective roles.

Moreover, the website confirmed that REVOROOT would be animating the anime. REVOROOT is famous for animating another isekai anime; I have been killing slimes for three hundred years.
