  • 13 Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba [2021]

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the most popular and critically acclaimed anime and manga series. It follows the tale of Tanjiro, who is trying to turn her sister Nezuko into a human again. She was transformed into a demon by the main antagonist of the series, Muzan Kibutsuji, who also killed the rest of Tanjiro’s family. Nezuko then later become one of the Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer.

Throughout the journey of Demon Slayer, fans meet several women. However, only a few of them were strong enough to leave their impact on the story. So, here is the list of the 13 strongest female characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba

    13: Makomo

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

The first name on this list is Makomo, who was the former apprentice of Sakonji Urokodaki. The same person who trained the likes of Tanjiro and Guys. However, Makomo didn’t get much time to reveal her strength as he died during the final selection test along with another student named Sabito. She has a really kind and helpful personality, as she always helped Tanjiro during his training by pointing out the flaws in his techniques.

    12: Spider Demon (Daughter)

    Spider Demon

The older sister Spider Demon appeared when Tanjiro and his friends came across one of Twelve Blood Moon Kizuki for the very first time. She has a body count of 80 humans. However, despite being powerful enough, she was no match for Rui. Also, the insect Hashira Shinobu managed to defeat her without any difficulty.

    11: Spider Demon (Mother)

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

The mother Spider Demon was also a part of the Spider demon family. However, she is not the biological mother of any of her children. Just like the sister demon, the mother demon was used and dominated by Rui. She can even create puppets using spider webs and fight her opponents from a distance. In her ending moments, she was happy that she would finally rest in peace, and the other family members won’t ridicule her anymore.

    10: Serpent Demon

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

The Serpent Demon was one of the strongest female demons. She is even worshipped by the members of Iguro’s family. However, nothingg much is known about this demon except for the fact that she had a sinister liking towards Obanai. In the past, Hashiras was sent to slay her, and they did their job without any struggle. So, it is likely that the strength of the Serpent Demon was beneath that of the Twelve Kizuki.

    9: Susamaru

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

Susamaru is one of the strongest female demons that Tanjiro and his friends have faced in the anime series so far. She was sent by Muzan Kibutsuji himself to assassinate Tanjiro. Her superior physical strength and her great intellect made her one of the strongest female characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba.

    6. Kanae Kocho

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

The next name on this list is Kanae Kocho. She was the Flower Hashira and was the older sister of the insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho. Kanae Kocho proves herself as one of the strongest female demon slayer characters the moment she competes against the Upper Rank 2 demons. She managed to give a pretty tough fight to a demon-like Doma. However, she was fatally injured during the battle that led to her death.

    7: Kanao Tsuyuri

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

Kanao Tsuyur is an adoptive sister of Kocho and Shinobu. She has been fighting demons from a very young age and was trained by two Hashiras. She even showed flexibility and strength when Shinobu was training Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. Also, Kanao Tsuyuri is a perfect candidate to become the next Hashira.

    6: Daki

    Daki
    Viz Media

The anime fans are yet to see Daki, but they already saw her glimpse in Demon Slayer Season 2 trailer. Daki is the main antagonist of Entertainment District Arc and is one among the Upper-Rank Demon directly working under Muzan Kibutsuji. She has exceptional strength and is capable of sending her opponent only with a mere punch. Daki’s monstrous strength made her one of the strongest characters of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba.

    5: Shinobu Kocho

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

The Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, is certainly one of the strongest female characters in Demon Slayer. She doesn’t even have enough strength to behead any demon. So, she uses poison on her sword to kill the demons. The lack of physical strength made it difficult for Shinobu to go toe to toe against the Upper-Rank Demons. However, she is still strong enough to give them a good fight with her sheer intellect and skills.

    4: Tamayo

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

Tamayo is one of the very few demons who managed to maintain her human emotions despite being a demon. She does not like to involve in a physical conflict as her main focus is on the medical side. Her pharmaceuticals surpassed every single character in the series. Tamayo does not rely on physical strength. Her ability to cast illusions is really strong. She managed to stop Muzan Kibutsuji with it. However, it’s a shame that Demon Slayer never featured Tamayo going all out in a battle.

    3: Nakime

Strongest Female Characters In Demon Slayer

Nakime wasn’t really strong when she was first introduced in the Infinity Castle Arc of Kimetu no Yaiba. She was the mysterious Biwa Demon whose job was to summon other demons on the command of Muzan Kibutsuji. However, after the death of Hantengu, she cemented her place as one of the four Upper-ranked demons of the Twelve Kizuki. After gaining strength, she became one of the main antagonists of the Infinity Castle Arc.

    2: Nezuko Kamado

    Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko Kamado is the cutest and strongest female demon of Kimetsu no Yaiba. Her power increases drastically as the series moves forward. She was able to stand against a guy like Giyuu, and that too at the beginning of the series. Nezuko’s physical strength evens that of the Upper-rank demons. She also has the ability to shrink and expand her body size. Nezuko’s Blood Demon art is also very powerful, and she already saved Tanjiro with its help against Rui in the anime series. She is also the very first demon who managed to develop resistance towards sunlight.

    1: Mitsuri Kanroji

    Mitsuri Kanroji

When the fans first saw Mitsuri Kanroji, they never thought of her to be the strongest female character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. The Love Hashira has a quite shy and bubbly personality, but once she’s in a battle, she is the exact opposite of it. She has an immense amount of strength despite her thin body. Mitsuri Kanroji uses a special sword, and only she is capable enough to wield it. She is quite flexible as well and is also one of the strongest Hashiras in the Demon Slayer. With bare hands, Mitsuri demonstrated how strong she is when in the manga, she grabbed one of Muzan’s tentacles and ripped it off him.

So, this concludes the list of the 13 Strongest Female Characters of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. So, which one of these female characters is your favorite. Do tell us in the comments section, and keep coming back to The Anime Daily for all the latest anime and manga updates.

  • Boruto’s Eye: All The Interesting Facts To Know About Jougan

Boruto’s Eye has been a topic of discussion ever since the beginning of Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generations. We are talking about the mysterious blue-ish white eye of Boruto that is also known as Jougan. It is one of the enigmatic Dojutsus whose powers are somehow connected with the Otsutsuki Clan. In the twenty-year-long history of the series, Boruto Uzumaki is the only wielder of this unique Dojutsus.

According to several theories, the power of Jougan even surpasses that of Rinnegan and Byakugan. Boruto already awakened the dojutsu in his right eye for quite a while now. However, the makers of the series are still keeping the fans in the dark about the power and origin of Jougan. So, this article is here to help you understand Boruto’s Eye as it will feature all the exciting facts about Jougan.

    Boruto's Eye

    Meaning Of Jougan

Let’s start things off with the literal meaning of Jougan. The anime series never mentioned it, but a panel in the manga series confirms that Jougan translates to “Pure Eye.” Now, the pure eye can have several different meanings, such as the eyes without any flaws or the eyes of God, etc. Initially, the fans mistaken Boruto’s Eye for Tenseigan, a dojustu wielded by Toneri Otsutsuki. However, an animator clarified that this blue-is white eye is neither Tenseigan nor Byakugan. Instead, it is a “Jougan” or simply a “Pure Eye.”

    Boruto’s Eye or Jougan Origin

What is the origin of Boruto’s Eye or Jougan? Now this question has several different answers. No one in the series knows about the Jougan except for the Otsutsukis. They instantly recognized the Jougan that hinted that it might be an Old Kekkei Genkai like Sharingan and Byakugan. But at the same time, Jougan hasn’t been wielded by anyone in the history of shinobi, and that means only the members of the Otsutsuki clan are capable of wielding this power or knows how to activate this power.

    Boruto's Eye

    Theory 1

Many fans believe that Toneri Otsutsuki plays an important role in the origin of Jougan. In Naruto: The Last Movie, Toneri stole the Byakuan from Hanabi in order to awake his Tenseigan. This dojutsu was manifested by Hamura Otsuksuki himself. Hamura used Tenseigan to bring peace, but Toneri wanted to use it to bring salvation to humanity. Many people believe that Toneri altered Hinata’s DNA during their encounter in Naruto: The Last. Hence, they call Jougan a product of Byakugan and Tenseigan.

Some fans even believe Toneri himself granted Boruto with Jougan in order to continue his legacy. In Boruto Episode 8, Toneri appeared in Boruto’s dream, where he talked about Jougan. He called his eye the “Star of Hope” and revealed that the power of Jougan will go against the destruction that is yet to come. Initially, Boruto mistook his Jougan as Byakugan.

    Theory 2

The second theory is quite simple, actually. According to this one, Jougan is simply a product of biology. Since Boruto is the son of Naruto and Hinata, he got the unique chakra from the Hyuga Clan and Uzumaki Clan. The fans already know that Hyuga’s Princess receives chakra directly from Hamura. On the other hand, during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto got the chakra from Hamura’s twin brother Hagoromo. So, many fans believe that Boruto’s Eye is the natural manifestation of Naruto and Hinata’s unique chakra inside Boruto.

    Boruto's Eye

    Jougan’s Power & Abilities

All the powers and abilities of Jougan are yet to be revealed in the series. But sooner or later, it will become one of the most overpowered Dojutsus. Some fans even think that Jougan is quite more powerful than Tenseigan and Rinnegan. Boruto’s Eye or Jougan can sense and see different kinds of chakras. With the help of Jougan, Boruto can sense the presence of an ominous chakra inside anyone. However, he hasn’t gained control of this ability yet, and it activated automatically around dangerous elements.

The second ability of Jougan is reasonably related to Byakugan. Boruto’s Eye allows him to see the pathway system of the chakra. With its help, Boruto can spot vital chakra points as well. Also, Boruto can see the invisible b barriers that connect different dimensions. He also managed to influence the dimensional portal when he encountered Sumire Kakei.

Momoshiki also predicted that those Blue eyes of Boruto would take everything from him. It is still unclear why Momoshiki said this, but the fans speculated that it is related to his Jougan. So, the fans are expecting that the author of Boruto will soon reveal more information about Boruto’s Eye. They are really curious to know what kind of destructive powers will Boruto be able to use after getting full control of Jougan.

    About Boruto

Boruto is a sequel to the Naruto series that takes place after the events of Naruto: The Last Movie. It is a manga series that began to publish on May 9, 2016. A total of 15 volumes of this manga have been released so far. It also received an anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot. Its first episode hit the screens on April 5, 2017. Initially, the fans criticized the anime a lot. It happened due to a lot of filler content. However, that’s not the case anymore. Now, the fans finally think Boruto can continue the legacy created by the Naruto franchise.

Now, they are very excited to see how the character of Boruto will unfold in the series. They have been impressed by its development so far. But at the same time, they are expecting quite more from him. The anime recently concluded the Isshiki arc, whereas the manga series is currently showing the arc that involves Code and Daemon.

So, that was all on Boruto’s Eye but we promise to update this section once there is an update on Jougan. So, stay tuned for all the latest updates anime and manga updates.

Everyone looks at Itachi as a hero except for the fans who are yet to know the truth about him. In the first part of Naruto, Itachi Uchiha is one of the most intimidating antagonists who killed his entire clan. Not only that, but he was also a part of the terrorist group known as “Akatsuki.” Now the question lies, Why Did Itachi Kill the Uchiha Clan?

Itachi told Sasuke that he assassinated his entire clan to test his own limitations. It made Sasuke and the fans hate him alike. Itachi Uchiha went from a cold-blooded killer to a hero who saved the Hidden Leaf village. So, how did this happen? Here is everything to know.

Why Did Itachi Kill the Uchiha Clan

Naruto: Did Itachi Kill Uchiha Clan Out of His Own Free Will?

Itachi did kill the Uchiha clan, but Danzo Shimura was the one who manipulated him into doing so. Danzo was the leader of the Anbu and one of the elders of the Hidden Leaf Village. He convinced Itachi to wipe out his entire clan in order to save the life of his beloved little brother Sasuke Uchiha. At that time, Itachi was working as a spy for Danzo and revealed to him that Uchiha Clan was planning a coup d’etat due to all the discrimination they faced in the village.

Danzo took advantage of this situation and manipulated Itachi that this coup would result in a civil war among the residents of Konohagakure. Being his superior, Danzo forced Itachi to massacre the Uchiha clan in order to save his village and his little brother.

Why Did Itachi Kill the Uchiha Clan

Naruto: Why Itachi Killed The Uchiha Clan?

The reason behind Itachi killing the Uchiha clan wasn’t his cold blood. Neither did he want to test his abilities. The elders of Konoha forced this heart-wrenching mission on Itachi in order to maintain the peace in the village. Itachi Uchiha was there when the Third Great Ninja war broke out. He even tried to save a life during the war, but the very guy attacked him. As a result, from the very beginning, Itachi Uchiha hated wars. Also, there was a dispute among the villagers and the Uchiha clan from the very beginning of the Shinobi world.

It all started with a revolution by Madara Uchiha. The Nine-tailed Fox incident was also enough to convince everyone that the Uchihas are a threat. When the members of the Uchiha Clan were planning a coup, Itachi, Shisui, and the Third Hokage tried to look for a peaceful resort. However, Dano was against this idea. He convinced that the elders that eliminating the Uchiha Clan was the only option. Shisui was also against this coup and even tried to stop it.

However, in the end, he failed and committed suicide. It was the very moment when Itachi awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan. Eventually, Danzo managed to convince everyone that in order to maintain peace in the village, they must massacre the Uchiha clan. Itachi was given this mission as he was the only one who could do it without disturbing the peace in the village. Also, Danzo promised him that no one would lay a finger and he would have a great life. Sasuke’s protection and peace of the village were more than enough of a reason to kill Itachi, his entire clan.

Why Did Itachi Kill the Uchiha Clan

    Consequence

This event filled Sasuke with hatred towards his beloved brother. He began to train desperately so that one day he could become powerful enough to kill Itachi. The latter fueled the fire in Sasuke from time to time. So that he could become strong as he wanted Sasuke to be the one to end his life. It is because of Itachi that Sasuke is currently two of the strongest Shinobis. After learning the truth about Itachi, Sasuke even went on to kill Danzo Shimura in order to take revenge for his clan.

  • Toji Fushiguro: Everything to Know About The Infamous “Sorcerer Killer” of Jujutsu Kaisen

Toji Fushiguro, who is also known as “Sorcerer Killer,” is one of the most famous and beloved characters of Jujutsu Kaisen. Most of the fans already guessed by its head name that he is related to Megumi Fushiguro. Toji is one of the prominent members of the Zenin clan. He can beat anyone in the entire JJK series when it comes to raw strength. Not only that, the sorcerer killer is the master weapon specialist and can use any cursed tool to its fullest extent.

So, who exactly Toji Fushiguro is? Why he used “Fushiguro” as his head name instead of Zenin? What are his abilities and powers? Keep reading to know the answers to these questions and every single detail about the infamous sorcerer killer.

    Toji Fushiguro: Introduction

Toji Fushirguro is a member of the Zenin clan and is an enemy of Gojo Satoru. He was introduced in the manga right after the Death Painting arc that will now take place in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Appearance-wise, Toji is a tall, muscular man with mid-length hair. He has green eyes and a scar on the right of his mouth, just next to his lips. Moreover, Toji Fushiguro is the father of Megumi Fushiguro and serves as the main antagonist of the past arc of his son’s mentor, Gojo Satoru.

Just like Maki, Toji was also born without any curse energy, and hence he couldn’t see any curse as well. However, he was blessed with raw power, severe strength, speed, and agility in exchange. In 2006, when he was a non-curse user assassin, Toji was contracted by Time Vessel Association.

Personality Of The Infamous Sorcerer Killer Of Jujutsu Kaisen

Toji Fushiguro is the confident type of man who uses his skills to make money. He is also one of the coldest and most calm characters of Jujutsu Kaisen. He can even match the sarcasm level of beings like Gojo Satoru. Whenever Toji fights a battle, he enjoys himself, and the same can be seen in expressions as well. However, at the same time, he maintains a cool and can also plot the entire battle in his mind. Toji Fushiguro is a renowned assassin that earned the nickname “Sorcerer Killer.”

He can kill anyone for the right amount of money without any second thought. Toji’s strategies are quite lethal, and he has the ability to outwit most of the skilled sorcerers. Since Toji is also a non-sorcerer in a sorcerer family, he suffered a lot. His ominous actions are a result of his sorrow towards the Jujutsu world.

How Did Toji Zenin Become Toji Fushiguro

Toji Zenin was raised a non-sorcerer in one of the three greatest families. As a result, he had to go through a lot of things, just like Maki Zenin. After some time, Toji left the Zenin clan and became an assassin. Soon, he found a woman and married her. The head of that woman was Fushiguro. Since then, he changed his name to Toji Fushiguro. However, Toji left the woman right after he gave birth to Megumi. Not only that, but he even planned to sell his own son to the Zenin clan so that they could exploit the young Megumi for the cursed energy that he would eventually acquire.

    Toji Fushiguro: Power & Abilities

Despite being a non-curse user, Toji is one of the most elite fighters in the saga of Jujutsu Kaisen. His physical prowess was superior to every single opponent he faced so far. During his lifetime, Toji Fushiguro defeated special grade curse users on three different occasions. One among them was none other than Gojo Satoru. However, Gojo was only a high-school student at that time, but he was still considered as one of the strongest sorcerers. Toji also defeated Suguru Geto, and that too without any lethal damage. Toji inherited all the knowledge of the Jujutsu world from the Zenin, and he used this knowledge to create his strategies while fighting with Jujutsu sorcerers.

There was an occasion when Toji defeated a Six Eyes user with god-like perception by pulling off a surprise attack. Toji Fushiguro was powerful enough to stand against the Limitless technique of Satoro Gojo. Even against a technique this powerful, Toji managed to find a way to launch a counterattack. Only the secret Hollow Purple technique of Gojo was lethal enough to take down Toji. The Zenin Clan doesn’t have any knowledge of this technique, and hence when Gojo used it in the battle, it came as a surprise for him.

Cursed Tools Wielded By The Sorcerer Killer

Along with the Sorcerer Killer, Toji Fushiguro was also renowned as the Master Weapon Specialist. He can wield a variety of cursed weapons in the battle. His fighting style is totally depending on the use of these weapons as he can substitute Jujutsu with his attacks using the cursed tools. Not only cursed tools, but Toji used non-cursed weapons as well so that the opponent couldn’t detect any cursed energy. Japanese Broadsword, Inverted spear of Heaven, Chain of Thousand Miles, and Playful Cloud are some tools he liked to use the most.

Among all these tools, the Japanese Broadsword is Toji Fushiguro’s primary choice of weapon. Toji Fushiguro already made his final appearance in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series. However, he is yet to appear in the anime. Thus, fans can expect Toji Fushiguro to see in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 in the past arc of Gojo Satoru.

  • What Does Jujutsu Kaisen Mean? Everything To Know

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese supernatural dark fantasy manga series. Gege Akutami began its serialization in 2018. After meeting with a great reception, Studio MAPPA finally decided to adapt this story into anime. They released its premiere episode in October 2020. The series became pretty successful, and it even won Crunchyroll’s “Anime of the Year” award. Both anime and manga are one of the most talked-about series in their respective industries.

The series always managed to become a topic of discussion. Whether it is action sequences or amazing characters, JJK caught everyone’s attention. Not only the series elements, but its name Jujutsu Kaisen is also a major topic of discussion among the otakus. Most people don’t know what the meaning of Jujutsu Kaisen is. So, if the same question pops up on your mind as well, you’re at the right place to find its answer.

    Jujutsu Kaisen

    What Does Jujutsu Kaisen Mean?

In the title, the word Jujutsu translates to “Sorcery.” Whereas the meaning of Kaisen is “endless combat.” If Studio MAPPA used titles such as “Sorcery Endless Combat” or “Sorcery Fight,” then it wouldn’t look as interesting as its original Japanese title. Also, the word Kaisen is shorter than its translation. As a result, the makers decided not to translate its title. The overall meaning of Jujutsu Kaisen can also be defined as the manipulation of opponents’ force against themselves in a sorcery fight.

The sorcery in Jujutsu Kaisen means the manipulation and modification of the cursed energy, and it is the foundation of the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. In Japan, there is another term, “Jjujutshiki,” which translates to cursed energy. So, it is likely that Gege Akutami learned everything before using “Jujutsu Kaisen” as the title. As the concept of this show is also based on the cursed energy.

    jujutsu kaisen

The term Jujutsu also refers to a martial arts system in Japan. It is a close-range combat technique that is effective in both offense or defense. It was developed for the combat of the feudal lord in Japan. There, one fights with armed or armored opponents with bare hands or short weapons. This technique includes efficient methods in order to neutralize the enemy. Moreover, it includes moves like joint locks, throws, and pins.

Jujutsu is a technique that is based on the principle of using one’s energy against themselves in combat. Since this supernatural dark fantasy also follows the same concept, Gege Akutami decided to name it Jujutsu Kaisen.
