In the penultimate episode of Kumo Desu ga Nani Ka, the viewers saw Potimas ordering the new Gloria units into the battle as the army of demons is approaching them. Shun easily overpowered Hugo in the battle, and Sophia refuses to help the latter. Merazophis revealed that his army already infiltrated the elf village. It made Hugo very angry as all this time, Mezarophis manipulated him. He tried to attack Mezarophis, but the latter knocked him out.

Sophia told Shun that they’re only alive because she orders not to kill anyone. Later on, Wrath, the commander of the 8th demon army, also appeared on the battlefield along with the reinforcements.
