It is unfortunate news for all the avid readers of the Pumpkin Night manga. Well, it’s quite common for manga series to go on long undefined hiatuses. Yet, it’s never a good piece of information for their fans. Sadly, that’s what is happening with Pumpkin Night this time. The latest announcement that came from LINE Digital Frontier mentions another break coming up for the next edition of the popular manga series. Masaya Hokazono and Nao Kurebayashi’s masterpiece wouldn’t return to entertain us this week. Read the full article to find out when the manga will come out with a new chapter.
Pumpkin Night On A Break!
Pumpkin Night
The decision to stop the serialization of this manga came after the administrative desks realized that there is not enough content to consistently run it. The illustrator of the manga series, Kurebayashi, needs more time to draw enough chapters. Hence, the serialization has been discontinued for now, as per a report by Anime News Network.
Pumpkin Night has been releasing one chapter every two weeks. This has been the release pattern of the series for years. However, it now looks like meeting the deadlines has become almost impossible. The makers said that they are “on thin ice” regarding the production of this popular manga. Even though the story of Hokazono is running ahead, this break will give Kurebayashi more than enough time to catch up with the remaining story after chapter 53. Keep an eye on this section for future updates.

What are your thoughts on the live-action Death Note 2? The decisions to turn popular anime into live-action adaptations are always criticized, even before the projects start. That’s because fans know that the details of an anime simply cannot exist in the real world. It’s more than difficult to copy visual material into a screenwriting piece in order to make a live-action version.
The biggest example of this blunder came in the form of the 2017 live-action adaptation of Death Note. Unlike the original manga, the film was based in an American setting. Naturally, fans were upset with this experiment, and the film was discarded immediately. It’s that time again when Netflix has garnered the courage to pick up this blundered project and revive it from scratch. That’s right, Netflix is planning to make Death Note 2! Let’s see what all is going around this decision.
First Death Note Live-Action Film Was A Disaster!
Death Note 2
Netflix has hired writer Greg Russo to handle the job of rewriting the essential changes in the Death Note movie sequel. Well, the new member has been very vocal about his upcoming project. Russo has publicly said that the sequel will draw more content from the source material than the original film. Since the release of its anime series, Death Note has seen a couple of failed movie ventures that never managed to capture the essence of the original.
In 2017, Netflix released its own adaptation of this popular manga, which catered to American audiences. But as expected, it lost the true soul of the show and is only remembered as a lifeless adaptation. A lot was changed from the original manga. An unnecessary teenage drama love story was also included that was highly criticized. The film’s overall theme also became only about the back and forth between the protagonist and antagonist. Whereas, it should have focused on showing the bigger picture of justice like the original show.
A Sequel Closer To The Manga
Death Note Manga
It looks like Netflix is ready to address all the problems that the first live-action film faced. Writer Greg Russo has said that they have got it all covered this time. Russo also mentions that he is a huge fan of the original manga and thinks that they should stick to the values of the original work. Well, he wasn’t involved in Netflix’s first Death Note. Hence, he has a different vision than the previous content team. Hence, the screenwriter states that he has some great ideas for the sequel. Greg said that he would make sure he and his team sticks close to the source material and make a film as best as possible.
More About Death Note 2: Release Date
Beyond Russo’s statement about the next Death Note, there is only a little information available about this film. It is known that the director of the first film, Adam Wingard, originally planned to make two adaptations of the popular franchise with Netflix. However, it looks like the failure of the first one made Netflix change its plans.
The news of a Death Note live-action sequel has already made the fans upset because they have seen previously other products go down the lane. It’s a huge risk for Netflix in terms of image-building to invest in a project like this. However, now they have announced it, we hope that the streamer does a good job this time. Since the movie has been renewed only recently, it will take at least a year or more to hit the screens. We will update this section when the release date comes out.

Castlevania Season 4: Plot Details & Official Trailer
There are two major questions over which the plot of the fourth season will ponder—first, the fate of Alucard after being betrayed by Taka and Sumi. The second will be the fight between Carmilla and Wallachia. These are the two storylines that are most anticipated for the fourth installment.
In Season 4, Carmilla will be seen setting her pan of the ‘corridor-pen’ into action with the help of Hector. Whereas, Hector has also imprisoned Lenore for ease. In order to make her plan successful, the forge master will have to create an entire army of night creatures. As for Alucard, he is seen confronting his father after taking Sumi and Taka outside the castle. The moral dilemma of the story will be Alucard turning into an evil man. The return of Trevor and Sypha is also the talk of the town. Last but not least, is Dracula himself. The big question is will he be able to travel through the infinite corridor back from hell this time?
The official trailer of the upcoming season is finally out! What do you think about it? Tell us in the comments below.
Will There Be A Season 5?
In an interview with Collider, shoemaker Ellis and executive producer Kevin Kolde revealed the show’s future. To this, Kolde said that he is not really sure where they would go from here. Hence, he goes on to say that by the end of Season 3, the story was at a very different place than what the viewers think. Well, the third season apparently began with new hope and a new beginning. The audience thought that everything’s going to be great and happy. However, this is when Warren pulled the rug out from under them, and everything changed. It’s quite an uncertain statement from the maker of the show. But it does suggest that, if given a chance, the show might be revived for further seasons.

Have you heard about Russia Banning Isekai Anime? It’s a piece of sad news for all the Russian anime fans this time. Popular isekai anime KonoSuba, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, and multiple other anime series have been taken down from websites in Russia. The order came after Russian courts recognized that the isekai animes “promote reincarnation beliefs,” which is inappropriate for certain audiences.
Most anime series of the genre shows that “after death, there can be a more full and interesting life, free from the control of one’s parents.” Hence, this belief was not something they want to project to the audience. As a result, they have put a lifetime ban on all isekai animes that project this ideation publicly. Let us take a deeper look into the matter.
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime
Russia Banning Isekai Anime: Reason For The Ban?
On Monday, the Russian district court of Saint Petersburg announced a total ban on five isekai anime series. This came under Russian federal law for the protection of children from harmful information. The anime series that were taken down include KonoSuba, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Zombie Land Saga, Nekopara, and Princess Lover!.
The announcement came out on the court’s official Telegram channel. The official press service of the court says that the decision of ban came under the considerations of experts. The court also mentioned that the evidence of one believing in the concepts of a parallel world is highly visible in the anime audience. Moreover, the court stated that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! promotes reincarnation beliefs projecting a wholesome world after one’s death. They portray life after death to be adventurous and magical. Hence, this can lead to people inclining towards the afterlife more.
KonoSuba
Earlier Ban On Death Note
Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul, and Inuyashiki are also taken off the net in Russia since January. The bans were implemented after the court of St. Petersburg decided the content of these shows was inappropriate for audiences. The government ended up banning a number of sites, including Animejapan.tv, Animego.org, Jut.su and Animeonline.cc.
The court took these decisions after the claims of Russian teens reenacting violent scenes from the anime shows. Hence, after they ordered the bans, the officials took down both Death Note and Inuyashiki from the official anime bingeing websites.
Russia Banning Isekai Anime: Causes
The prosecutors who were favoring the ban of such shows say that anime series like Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul, and Inuyashiki provide dangerous content for teenage audiences. For evidence, he presented the case of a teenage boy who committed suicide. The boy owned the Death Note manga, and it allegedly related to his death. On the other hand, the prosecutor mentioned another tragic case of a teenage boy who fell out of a window. However, the boy’s dressing was much similar to that of the protagonist of Death Note. Besides, similar reasons play out for Russia banning isekai anime as well.
What are your thoughts about the bans on these anime series in Russia? Do you think it is justified to take down shows on these grounds? Share your thoughts in the comment section. For more updates on the anime world, please keep visiting our site.

If you look at the manga, it points towards an incredible scene where Oden takes on Kaido’s dragon and cuts the creature into two. It will be worth watching how this scene comes to life in the anime.
Previously on One Piece Episode 971
In Episode 971, we saw that the Gecko Pirates were up against the Animal Kingdom Pirates during the second year of Oden’s return to Wano. Here, Oden is still unstable and continues to make a fool of himself. People of the country make fun of him, but he still appears to perform his ridiculing dance every week. Five years later, Orochi returns to Kuri only to tell Oden that he wished to erect weapon factories there. Hence, Orochi tells him that he has imprisoned Hyogoro and handed him over to Kaido. In fact, Hyogoro’s wife is also under their arrest. On the other hand, he plans to break the promise by staying in the country with Kaido.
